Hatched this maize XYX today. The secondary is just, super nice. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/72366848][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/723669/72366848_350.png[/img][/url] So, flaunt/shimmer/glimmer + pastel eyes looks really, really good, but only on a couple of poses because shimmer is a weird gene. Not that it doesn't basically look ok on all poses, but baby coatl, female coatl and male fae just look more matchy. I've also already got Clementine, who is a pseudo-XXY. adult fem coatl!. thats a very pretty baby!!! yea shimmer is a royal pain because the colors change drastically.

my favorite colors in shimmer and iri are maize. on coatls it makes them pastel rainbows. but anything else for the most part look bland lol

Oh man that baby scry is so good. Though, is your heart particulary set on that gene combo? A lot of combinations look reeaaallly good on this kid, and I kind of wonder about iri/shim since they may or may not change some time down the line. @ShadowEclipse Colorwise the f coatl pose is so good, it's just they're so much more annoying to dress. >:P

@kyaniite It is a super matchy combo in so many ways (like on veils, branches is a brown very close to beige too), I just like the touches of color that flaunt + shimmer add? Instead of just being light brown all over. I really wish we could put skins on permababies! Then I wouldn't even have to think about it.

@kitkune if u want some variety in the apparel, i also recommend the sepia rose thorn apparel, as well as the demure locket!
