[center] Did you start out on this website to make pretty dragons and talk to like, three people? Were you formerly unfamiliar with the trading market on FR? Did you recently learn about the rarity or price of one of your dragons? This thread is for you! In the last three weeks, I have come to realize I am extremely lucky that both my progen are XXY, with matching eyes. I exalted them years ago because they didn't fit my ~aesthetic~. Foolish! i bought this 8-year-old, very low 6-digit, pure g2, 4 named offspring dragon off the ah for prolly like 7g as fodder. worth 5kg minimum i think, based on ah prices for 6-digits. maybe a lot more, idk, not my area of expertise. only noticed when i got a pm from an interested buyer. was gonna yeet it, may have never known [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/159613][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/1597/159613_350.png[/img][/url] hunted unsuccessfully for the seller, nobody ever got in touch. still one of the most valuable dragons i own used to never bother to check id's when i exalted but i compulsively do it now

@Boiteux Wow, what amazing progens! That's incredible that your random was XXY too, and with such nice colors. I definitely went through the same thing and ended up exalting my random when I first started playing. I was so excited when they introduced progen recovery. He needed a triscroll but I really like him now! Plus he's a 5 digit oldie, I just love seeing him back in my lair. I'm so glad I didn't toss him, I think he needs a regeneing but I'm a sucker for old dragons especially doubles. I had a Night Warrior from the early generations that I stupidly yeeted a couple years ago, and ngl I regret it. I got this girl as a replacement later and I've considered chucking her a few times since she's a mirror, but she's somehow earned a place in the 'dragons I'd absolutely despise loosing' group a year or so ago. these two! @Unsettling Omg what a color combo, gives me a strong halloween energy with those colors. I think it could work with the right genes and a new breed, but that might be my bias against Guardians :')

Whenever I see the crackle gene I'm thrown back to watching over the shoulders of my friends while they played FR, and wanting to play sooooo bad. I would always promptly forget to set a reminder for the next welcome week, so I joined a little late </3

@Cynicism Omg, I understand this. Mirrors are so hard to work with sometimes... My Bogsneak up there was originally a Mirror, and it wouldn't look nearly as good on that breed. A tragedy since they're so cool honestly.

@arawoods When I saw this I thought of so many people who would fight over this dragon LOL. I'm sure they will sell well in the Plague Flight markets, especially with those eyes!!

thanks! never made the halloween connection but you're right.

honestly, i've just been avoiding doing anything at all! i know oldie collectors are particular about how they like their dragons & i don't want to "spoil" it or tank the value by accident i guess. if i decide to make them a perma, though, definitely gonna have to gene & breedchange cuz booooring


edit: btw did you join pre- or post- color wheel expansion? i was thinking about your progens & i forget when it was exactly but if you joined after the expansion that makes it even cooler

Honestly in my experience genes can be changed, but if it looks good pre gened that usually increases the value of the dragon overall!

That's just playing around in the workshop, the colors are wonderful

I only joined post- expansion; but I remember what it was like before. I had friends playing it daily back then!
