i'm not buying a dragon until they are released so i can see what the tertiaries look like with them, but i do have some lore written already for one that is going to be the last i need for my 'Ice' group. things that were sealed away in the Fortress.
the species was more wild and vicious than Mirrors, along with being active walking extreme biohazards to the extent where they were actually wiping out all life around them and nothing was surviving. and that was no good to anyone, including the Plaguebringer. their expansion, and eventual destruction was the main cause of the Boneyard where nothing could exist there for tens of thousands of years.
a single specimen was locked away in the Fortress of Ends as a reminder.
because the Icewarden has great ideas.

i hatched my first ever primal not too long ago and i think they'll make a nice plague ancient! the wings aren't quite ideal but i love the primary/tert..really hoping the ancient will have lionfish! i dont think any of the current ancients do though
