Dragon Share

Howdy! I've written a nocturne into my lore that wears lots of apparel. He's a pirate (either double-crossed royal mercenary forced into piracy, a criminal picked up by these kinds, or a spy to stop the pirates, haven't decided which). He's a nocturned, high-spirited and short-tempered with a touch of compassion, a bit of wisdom, and a lot of knowledge. Smart guy, understands nuances well. Most importantly, he is decked out in a ton of apparel. Buuuut, I am not one to dress dragons overly much, especially nocturnes. I think they look best minimal. Show me your decked out nocturnes! And, if you have the time and interest, maybe suggest some ideas for mine? @MissAnnThrope - Your nocturnes are incredible! I recognized Elphaba for who she was immediately (though I still first think of the unnamed movie character). She is top-notch. Kerian is my favorite of the ones you showed off though. There's something about him that seems to want to tell a tale. Beautiful dragon.

@pheelthemoment - Hi, there! Hope you've been well since our last accidental encounter. :) Avril immediately caught my attention. What a gorgeous dragon! Pfeff also has amazing colors. Love her artwork.

@mynnthia - You have a very... what's the word? Whimsical, spacey, oceanic feel to your dragons. It's one of the best things to gather from a dragon, imo. I really love these. Thank you for sharing!

@Scorporius !!! The inverted colors on Nath's primary vs that overcoat. Nice. Love the effect.

@Paleozoic - Your nocturnes gave me a chuckle. In my lore, a nocturne can literally choose a form to change into, not a catch-all shapeshifting, but something that develops over years of an obsession. Both of yours look like they've done that, and I have to say I love the story it immediately tells. Fun dragons!

@IneffableAngel ... Your dragons are very, very eyecatching. October is gorgeous. I love her baby picture! This is exactly the sort of style I'm going for my dragon. YOu can...see..it's a nocturne, but boy is there a lot going on. Harelquinn is adorable, but I winced when I read she had a kindred spirit in another dragon and had nests with him. That's putting explosives together! (But I imagine they were very good parents that didn't pull pranks with the eggs...or maybe not, given that they are nocturnes, and we all know that lore.) You know, I've seen so many sailing dragons with the joke that they wanna be sailors/pirates, but soon find out that they can't be for whatever reason. Hawke is fun, and I assume his plants are for trying to discover a remedy to seasickness.
