Or: Watch me scatter two dragons until I get a combo I like for each of them, losing a lot of money in the process, and even more money once I'll have to look for outfits. [i][b]W[/b]hat is that weird idea?[/i] you may ask. Well, it all started on April 23, 2020. On this date, I decided to switch flight from Ice to Earth, and that's all I did. This story could have ended here, but it wouldn't be fun, right? I didn't think much of it for some time, but then one day I was like "But... Maybe I should have hatched eggs on that date? They could have been my new progens!". And then I forgot about it, because honestly? I didn't care much for new progens... [b]E[/b]xcept apparently I did, because since that idea popped into my head, I couldn't stop thinking about how I should have hatched eggs to make myself a "pair" of G1s that could be like new progens, how I was stupid for not doing it, and how I would forever regret it. Well, about two weeks ago I just randomly decided to look for dragons that were hatched on that date, had earth eyes, were unbred... and G1s! Because I was getting way too obsessed with that idea, so I had to try. And if I didn't find what I was looking for? This idea would stop pestering me. But still, I searched for dragons fitting these criteria, but... [b]I[/b]t was easier said than done, because finding a dragon of a specific date is quite the challenge with the current Search, and it's even worse when said dragon needs to be a G1, unbred, and with earth eyes... And I needed two of them! Not to mention that they had to be on active lairs, and not dead accounts... Honestly, I think there were at most 25 unexalted dragons fitting those criteria, half of which being on dead accounts and a quarter being dressed/gened and well loved by their current owners... It didn't leave many for me to buy. [b]B[/b]ut that didn't stop me, and I ended up finding two lovely lads for my project! ooh! I never really follow scatter projects, but I have to say that I love the idea of having a new set of progens for a new flight, that's so neat!

On a side note, I have acquired my first Scatterscroll o/ But I will wait until the end of the week to use it, just in case I can get enough money to buy another one; that way, I'll be able to scatter both G1s once. It would be a great way to start this crazy quest uwu

Having acquired the male today, I decided to use my two scrolls to scatter both dragons, and... If I was looking for an arcane or shadow dragon, I would have kept her like this, because I find her very pretty (soft girl ;;). Unfortunately, she's not what I was looking for in terms of colors... So I will scatter her again later. At least her colors are nice so she won't be my priority. The male, however... @Grune What a pretty scry :0 Too bad the skin doesn't hide the secondary well, it's too.. yellowy for my taste. But do you mind if I take inspiration from your scry and put the result in her bio/post? I might change the secondary if I can find something that's a bit darker, perhaps add a few apparels to see if I like it more, and maybe it'll actually make me wanna keep her! Maybe.
Anyhow, thank you for your message! Hopefully the male's next scatter won't be as bad as this first one... he's a disaster right now ;w;

I just finished my own scatterquest, and know the pain of looking for something good.

@Grune Just wanted to make sure before doing anything ~ I think I will actually keep her like that? Especially if the male keeps getting uglier and uglier, having extra scatters for him will come in handy. Ironically it is more yellow than with Wasp, but also adds more harmony, so I kinda like it? Also it's cheaper, and I love Tapir.
