CorruptedStars is the clan leader and a bone-priest. His ultimate goal is to spread contagion and disease across the lands. He fills the ranks of his clan by resurrecting the dead and dying.
Despair was a god of old that cursed others in exchange for gold. He died after one of his worshippers tricked him into cursing himself in order to prove his power. He was awoken by the clan leader when his gold-encased body was found among the treasures of a long-dead king. Now, he still bears the effects of the curse, his body slowly turning into the gold that he so cherished.
KappaLappa was once worshipped vehemently by a group that longed only to serve the gods. They were born to torment and devour their worshippers, allowing their worshippers to make the ultimate sacrifice in service to the gods. They fed so much that they were unable to take flight and perished as a great fire scorched the land. They were awoken when their body was found among the ruins of the shrine in which they died.
Paviella was worshipped as a god of the forests, protecting all that lived within its boundaries. As plague and fire began to destroy the land, she decided to become one with the forest in a last-ditch effort to protect the things that she loved most. She was awoken when the clan leader came across the scorched and diseased remnants of her forest home on the outskirts of Plague.
Chalcedony is imbued with the power of a god, a sort of pseudo-vessel. The clan leader could not bring back the soul of the dragon of the body of the god and so decided to join them, creating a new incarnation of the god. But this vessel is not perfect, unable to fully contain the power of the god inside of him, so the god’s power peeks through in the purple cracks that run along his body.
Maximiano was once a priest-king, a worshipper of the old gods. He died while trying to perform a ritual that would allow him to communicate with the gods, leaving behind the runes on his body. He was awoken by the clan leader for information on the gods of old.
Winterspine died as a sacrifice to the gods. She still bears the weight of the crystals that her body was incased in during the ritual.
Smokeseer is the clan leader's right hand. As a seer, she seeks for visions and messages in the smoke of the burned dead.
