How was it lost. . . what journey has it undergone to get to where it is? And I hope, once it’s gone home with you. . . to see a continued story for the dragon that hatches from it. Longer stories preferred here, this is an expensive item. Have fun 'Dinosaur' style. I want to see the egg hatched, preferably immediately, but if you want to wait for a specific date, please note that as well. I recognize fully that not all first gens come out fitting the lair or looking nice, but per your story you opted to take that chance, claiming this egg. I'll give a shot for the earth egg.

It's not often you find a dragon with newly laid eggs away from her nest, but there she was. No real choice. Her nest had been hollowed out by the Earthshaker during a recent upheaval, and a new one had set the place to shaking so she got out quick. Minutes later it had collapsed. The mother was a practical dragon, so after a short farewell to her broken home she set out.

She tried to make good time, but it's hard to hold four eggs at once. Three she could manage, but what loving mother leaves a baby alone in the forest? After a day of travel she stopped at the edge of a lake to rest. She curled around her eggs to warm them, and tried to sleep. Before she could drift off, a voice hailed her from the water. The watery dragon announced herself as a seer. She informed the exhausted mother that she had seen their meeting in the currents of her lair. It was fated, she said, that they would meet, so the seer could foster one of the mothers eggs. It would allow the other three to live, and give a new but fated destiny to unfold for the one egg she would take...
