UPDATE: I have found all of the mates that I want this time around... thanks everyone for showing me your beautiful dragons, and I look forward to talking to you all soon!
UPDATE: So I was going to end this thread yesterday and pick my dragon today, but the three dragons I was considering the most were either exalted or sold and so my search continues........ I continue to accept dragons that have already been hatched. No more pinglists apart from those I am already signed up with unless they are already on the nest have a high chance of getting colors in these ranges:
Primary: yellows - Coral (pinkish colors are highly unlikely to be accepted)
Secondary: Azure - yellows
Tertiary: Purples - yellows
These color ranges are more like guidelines than actual rules, you can go outside these ranges, but being within these ranges will have a higher chance of being accepted.
I and am looking for a mate for this boy:
Requirements:
- has to be a coatl or wildclaw
- Must be triple gened (triple colors aren't highly likely to be accepted unless I REALLY like them, doubles are possible in good colorations but work best with XYYs)
- Must be FEMALE
- I LOVE wide ranges. I find pairs that create similar dragons to be rather boring. This includes primaries, secondaries, and tertiaries, however secondaries and tertiaries could be closer if they work well with all of the other colors together. Additionally, wide ranges make it more likely that I can get rare color combinations for my sales thread.
- No specific genes required, I just have to like them on the dragon and the resulting hatchlings, however, the rarer genes will be more likely to be accepted. I'm not a big fan of eye spots or crackle on most dragons, but there could always be exceptions.
- I LOVE CONTRAST!!!! :D
- element isn't all that important, but I would prefer the eye colors look nice with the dragon in question. I tend to not like earth, water, or arcane eyes, although they could look nice with the right colors. But really, this is not a huge deciding factor so don't worry about it too much.
- Use the color ranges mentioned above as guidelines. They don't specifically have to fall within those ranges, but they would be more likely to be accepted. Primary being within the range is pretty important though since that is the main color. I find it boring in the offspring predictor to see the hatchlings have only all blue or purple bodies.....
- Bonus for a nice looking female coatl of Wildclaw with circuit
- PLEASE INCLUDE PRICING! If there are no prices, I am going to assume the dragon is not for sale, and don't want to fall in love only to discover that the dragon is WAY beyond my price range.
- Please include the dragon's ID number and http://trollslum.net/fr/ color range url as this will also help me make decisions. For the color range, my boy is Splash/Maize/Carmine.
- let me know if you would like to be pinged, I tend to respond to everyone, but if you only want to be informed if I am interested, please let me know and I'll respect your wishes.
- Please don't be offended if I don't accept your dragon. I am very picky, and am currently looking for brighter colors, something that I don't already have in my lair.
- For pricing, please nothing too expensive, preferably 100k or under
- If your dragon is placed on my consideration list, please let me know if it is sold, exalted, or has a chance of being exalted soon. I don't want to have to do the same thing again as what happened the last time I tried to put a deadline on my thread just to find out that the dragons I was considering were no longer being offered. I would loved to have picked one of those three dragons but couldn't when time rolled around. I try to keep my consideration list updated so it is a guarantee that if your dragon makes the list, then I am definitely considering whether or not to buy it in comparison to other dragons.
- I be willing to trade one of my for sale dragons if you are interested, or let me know if you might be interested in one of my breeding pairs. My sales thread can be found in my signature. Let me know if you are interested in a trade. That could increase changes of your dragon being picked.
