While lack of smell seems like it would be problematic, he has discovered that it makes him a perfect candidate for mixing the perfume bases which are, more often than not, disgusting and entirely unpleasant to scent. Ravosa must add the mixtures in precise amounts and refine them through several different processes before the aromatic parts can be added.
