The Jungles of Chult are a dangerous place. You know that perfectly well. You thought you were safe. You were wrong.
Danger, however, does not always mean death. You and your comrades are hardened treasure-seekers. You've been to scarier, deadlier places than Chult. This shouldn't have gone straight to Hades - and yet, somehow, it has. Why... why... WHY?!?!
Three days into the expedition, a thunderstorm rolled over the camp. It certainly wasn't fun to sleep in, but such storms are commonplace in rainforests, so you paid it no mind. However, after the encounter, something started to go wrong. They're coming for us all. They'll get you. They'll get me. They'll get everyone.
It began with the map. Plotting the layout of an overgrown forest is reasonably difficult, though not impossible, and you'd been using the map to help guide your way to your destination. Upon awakening after the rain, you found the rolled-up parchment inexplicably blank.
Since then, things have only gotten worse. Your previous goal has been forgotten. You're no longer part of an expedition to get money - you're a part of a group of lost, helpless dragons abandoned in the vast jungle. You and your comrades have kept themselves sane. "IT'S ALL FOR NAUGHT!" were her last words.
You know that your so-called friends will soon be upon one another like wild dogs on a kill. Do you have what it takes to root out the traitors before they prove your doom?
"Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone, there will be nothing. Only I will remain."
