It opened its blank eyes and stared at them with fury. They bowed before their new master as it lowered onto the grass before them. They parted as it moved towards the center of the old humans’ camp. They had left behind something...something precious… A single human hair. From one of the survivors. Grinning maliciously, the figure picked it up from the small shrine the other nightmares had created for it and carried it carefully to a small altar covered with a collection of grotesque materials. It placed the hair on top, then reached one claw into it’s form and drew out a silvery substance. As it touched the altar, a great explosion rendered the earth. An instant reaction sent darkness flooding before them, swirling into a great torrent that tore the stone apart. Stepping back, the nightmares cried with glee as they admired their work. A crack, a tear in the air before them, shone brightly, yet seemed to radiate a heavy darkness. As they watched it began to widen and they saw shapes moving inside. Shapes that they recognized… And with a great roar of triumph, the nightmares plunged into the crack, into a world they could never touch until now. They snarled with excitement. It was time to bring their games...their fun...into a new world.[/i]

Welcome to Sweet Dreams Round 3

Like last game, this will be a role madness, but with some few, minor hidden mechanics.

The war between the humans and nightmares has reached a new level - the nightmares have invaded the human world and trapped a small village of innocent humans in a dream-like state. If you kill them all, you can dispel the barrier and return to your lives. However, the nightmares like their games and they won't make it easy...




Rules

• No illegal pms or communication outside of the thread
• No editing or deleting posts.
• If you are killed or lynched, do not post in this thread. I will give you the link to the spectator chat.
• You must post at least once for each in-game day/night cycle (3 days) or else you will be removed from the game. If this is not possible for you, please let me know.
• This is, at its core, a non-RP mafia game, but you may add a bit of flavor if you would like. It is not required
• Do not pressure someone into revealing their power role
• Any aggression or rudeness will be given a warning. Second violation is a modkill
• Word of mod is word of God.
• Day cycles are 48 hours long, or until everyone has voted a lynch. Night cycles are 24 hours long, or until all power roles have reported.
• Votes for lynch in the lynch thread are due at the end of the day. Do not change your vote after this time.
• Not voting will not be counted and you may vote against lynching
• Voting will end 5 minutes before lockdown
• If there is a tie between two lynch candidates, no one will be killed that night.
