Let me be the first to welcome you to our happy little park! This is a wondrous place where you can run and play with your fellow canines, without the limitations of your leash! It's a completely fun and happy place, no doubt! Nope, nothing out of the ordinary here! Nothing that you should fear, anyways. Just make sure you get along with the other dogs, and you'll be completely fine! Not that you would get any trouble if you were to fall out of favor with... oh, I dunno, anybody in charge, heheh! All dogs are equal here! There is no hierarchy here, or any underground clans you should worry about taking over. All those rumors you've heard about some dogs suddenly disappearing from town just aren't true at all!" Before you can say anything in response, the little dog named Lucy tells you to follow her, to the center of the park where most of the dogs are playing. There, you meet a ton of new dogs, many of them becoming your best friends. You forget all about the strange introduction from Lucy as you run and play with your new friends, barking and yipping and playing tug-o-war and rolling away carefree in the green grass. It was such a happy beginning. Who ever would have thought that this would turn into chaos so fast?

Hello and welcome to Dog Park Mafia, a mafia game where you get to choose your role(kinda) based on different dog breeds.
Now, I know what you're thinking, and I'll answer it for you: No dogs are going to die in this game. That's just too sad. However, dogs will get injured, not too severely though.

Instead of dying, dogs will be "chased out of town". During the day, the thread has to decide who to chase out of town (lynch), and the person chosen will have the whole park attack them, forcing them to run away. The Mafia will choose a dog to chase out of town during the night, when everyone is home and their owners are sleeping.

Sometimes, however, just because you are attacked doesn't mean you are chased out of town. In that case, you will be injured. When you are injured, you cannot use actions.

Roles will be based on dog breeds, and you get to have several picks on your dog breed. Send me 4-7 picks of dog breeds you would want to play as. I will choose one breed and make a role based on it. You can send me any specific breed, including mixed breeds like Labrodoodles. You can't just send "mutt", it has to be a certain dog breed.

I don't know for sure when the game will start, but I will only start writing roles when 20 people have signed up, and I also want to start when a few of the many mafia games that are going on right now end, so I'll say probably next week or early October, but I'm not really sure at this point.

As for other mechanics, Days will be 48 hours long, and days will end at 14:00 FR time. Lockdown will take approximately around 30 minutes, and the next day will start at around 14:30 FR time. You can send actions through your QT at any time during the day. At lockdown, the action will be ignored. You also cannot post at lockdown.

This is a B.astard game. I will not directly lie to you, but this game is a closed setup, meaning roles are not revealed at the beginning of the game, and there will be hidden game mechanics.

I will not make a lynch thread for this game. In order to vote, all you need to do is type, in bold, "I will vote for *player*", or something similar.

1. Please clean up after your dog.
2. No aggressive dogs, please. If you start becoming mean to another player, you may be escorted out of the park, AKA Mod-killed. I'm not just talking about being a little salty, as mafia games do and will get tense, I'm talking about throwing insults and whatnot.
3. Word of Mod is Word of God Dog. If I at any point in time change the rules, modkill a player, or anything of the like, I have the right to.
4. Just because you're off-leash doesn't mean you can leave the park at any time! Do not discuss this game with any other players outside the thread.
5. Do not edit or delete posts.
6. Do not quote directly or post screenshots from your QT, you may paraphrase.
7. Please be active if you can. The days are 48 hours long, and that should be enough time to get on at least once in the day. If you have a sudden change of schedule in real life and cannot be active in the game for a while, or you can't participate in the game at all, please let me know and you will be excused, or if the latter, find a replacement. Otherwise, if you give no warning and you suddenly disappear, I will not hesitate to replace you. You must post at least once a day or post in your QT for me to consider you active.
8. Breaking any rule once will result in a warning, breaking a rule a second time will result in getting modkilled.
