In the heart of the Arcane territory, secluded deep within the darkest reaches of the Observatory, there is a very distressed pink god with a very real and gripping dilemma. The Arcanist paces back and forth nervously, sifting through piles of research notes in desperate search of something very important to him. He couldn’t have misplaced it, for this item was too dear for him, too special to be kept anywhere but safely secured in his personal quarters. And yet… it wasn’t there. It must have been stolen. It was humiliating enough that not even a few short months ago the god had had his precious research notes stolen, but this was so much worse. The item taken this time was none other than his secret book of self insert fanfiction dubious magical spells of astronomical proportions. In the wrong hands such a powerful object could cause the very downfall of the Arcane flight, or worse… He needed to enlist help of some sort in order to ensure the book’s swift and safe return, but who would be up to such a herculean task? Surely not just any mercenary off the streets! They’d definitely end up reading through the book and judging him hardcore. No, he needed someone more loyal, more specialized, more trustworthy. Someone who understood his passion.
...And then the answer hit him. He needed the help of memes. And so the Pink One set forth a rallying cry, summoning the dankest of memes from across the eleven territories to his side, and forming what would soon be known as the elite Meme Squad. He sent them forth on their perilous journey to track down the evildoing scoundrels who made off with his treasure, and to return said treasure safely back to him. You yourself are one of this group, an incarnation of one of the various comical mannerisms that plague the web. It is your sworn duty to carry out this order without fail.

...So hey, how’s it going. It’s your mod, BlueAlphyn885. Some people on the mafia scene may know me, but the rest of you have probably never heard of me. I’ve been playing mafia here on this site since April, and I’ve always wanted to host my own mafia game, so here I am!Tbh this was supposed to happen around the time of Starfall, but then college became a thing for me, so it got pushed waaaaay back in my schedule. But we're here now, okay? And since those who know me can confirm that I’m absolute trash, I decided to give it my own goofy flair. Memes are love, memes are life. So yeah. If you're unfamiliar with the game of mafia or its fine points, that's a-ok! Now's as good a time to learn as any! For a basic explanation, I'd recommend you read or at least skim this wiki article:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mafia_(party_game) (Definitely check out the section near the bottom on online play.

Other things worth noting:
-It is very important to note that while I and your fellow players don't expect you to be glued to your computer 24/7, these games do require you to dedicate a certain amount of time to catching up on posts, making reads, and conversing. I can't tell you the number of people who sign up for these games without thinking, then realize they don't have time and drop out on the first day. So please, if you have any doubts at all about meeting the daily activity requirement, please consider signing up as a spectator or replacement instead.
-Mafia games can be stressful for some people! At times when players are making accusations or trying to flush out mafia members, things can get a bit heated or intense. While this aggression is meant only as a tactic or playstyle, some people have a habit of taking these things personally. If this sounds like you then this may not be your type of game. We're all just here to have fun in the end, and keeping drama to a minimum is always a plus. (Please note however: If you feel as though you are being personally attacked by another player, please do not hesitate to ping or PM me and I will look into the matter immediately. I don't tolerate serious bullying in any shape or form.)
