The huge, unmistakable form of the Cloudsong’s Windsinger kite looms ahead of you. You were sent here on an errand for the Mistral Jamboree and decided, why not have some fun and ride on the Cloudsong? Besides, the Wind Flight was famous for their colorfully painted kites. This might be your only chance to see them up close!

The sky is filled with the colorful kites that gracefully glide on the wind. You feel at peace only looking at them even as you remember that this is something very out of the ordinary. With a smile on your face, you rush towards the place where the passengers seem to be waiting. However, a spark of doubt and realization soon ruins your childlike glee.

You have heard the sneaky Arcanites push innocent kite-passengers off their perches, likely revenge for the Windstar Bay fiascos.

You decide that you should be careful, but don't want to give up your once-in-a-lifetime experience. Plus, you have heard that another kite was constructed specifically to catch the fallen passengers. Hopefully what you’ve heard is true, and not false news. You would prefer not falling to your death.

Your fears melt away immediately, and a big smile forms on your face as you watch the kites that are swooping and diving in the air. The patterns and the decorations were amazing! In fact, you had to rub your eyes a few times - the patterns seemed to be moving with the wind! Amazed, you approach even closer, and stare at the kites. One in particular catches your eye, spiraling downward towards you. The Skydancer kite docks in front of you as its sails lower. You figure that it can only take so many passengers and decide to hurry up to get on it! And just in time - only 20 people were allowed to board it before it was announced that it's about to take off!

Seems like the fun is about to begin! All aboard!

General:

This is a non-RP train mafia, which has two connected games. The Skydancer kite is the game everyone starts out on at first. There is also Spiral kite, which is the second game you join after you are voted or pushed off the Skydancer kite. At least 5 people must be voted or pushed off the Skydancer kite to start the next game on the Spiral kite. (Though it’s a non-RP mafia, it still has elements of Flight Rising in it, including the location.)

This is an official Mistral Jamboree event. The game is slated to start on the first day of MistJam.

Due to popular demand, you may lynch one mod- Agrina. Crystal is unable to be lynched. Remember, all actions taken on the mod have consequences.

Each player will have an alignment and a faction, which are separate from each other. You may lie about both.

In Skydancing Sails, you are voting people off the kite. This game is like a normal mafia. Your win conditions are revealed in your role cards. This game will use a QuickTopic for the mafia.

In Spiraling Downfall, you are voting for a player to earn points to win the game. Every player does not know which faction anyone else belongs to. If the player being voted is in the same faction as you are, you get a point. The person being voted also gets a point. Whenever another player from your own faction gains a point for you, you will be notified that you have gained a point. This way, the player in a faction will learn who their other faction members are eventually. The mods will keep track of how many points each faction has, as well as the players in each faction. The faction that has the most points after the Skydancing Sails game finishes wins this game.

Days are 24 hours, Nights are 24 hours. This is to prevent the mafia from going on for much longer than Mistral Jamboree.

Rules:
1. Respect all your fellow players. If we see (or at least if I, Agrina, see) anyone personally attacking anyone other than just sussing someone and making anyone extremely uncomfortable, I will give you a warning. If it happens again, you will either be full on mod- killed or replaced. In all the mafia games I have played in or spectated in, this rarely happens, so I am hoping you will all abide by this rule and I won’t have to send any warnings out.

2. Do not have out of thread communication about the game with any of the other players. Asking me private questions is alright, I do that a lot myself. You may create spreadsheets, though do not let anyone else edit them other than yourself. I do not wish to have conversations where I cannot monitor them and see if you are abiding by the rules. If you are a mafia member, you may talk in the QuickTopic I have provided for you, as well as in the thread.

3. Respect the mods. Both of us have been working really hard to give you all a great game. We also have to work hard to keep this somewhat orderly and civil. You are able to lynch and perform any night actions on Agrina, though your actions WILL have consequences.

4. Please, no editing your posts. It matters less to us than the other rules, but other players may suspect you of hiding evidence you accidentally posted. Fluffing is alright, as long as it isn’t spamming, like posting a certain movie’s script (*cough* bee movie *cough*).

5. DO NOT take screenshots of anything game-related! Paraphrasing is fine, though copy/pasting anything game-related outside of the discussion thread is not okay.
