There's a little corner of the Windswept Plateau that buzzes with life. It's easy to find; just follow the lanterns drifting off into the sky. Laughter and conversation filled the air on the first ever Unity Festival. Enoth fully understood how important this event could potentially be, and that was why it had to be perfect.

Welcome to the Unity Dinner!
This is a cooking event somewhat similar to Chopped. I give you three ingredients to use to make a recipe, and then our judges, Saraceaser and TheSquishyKing, decide which recipe would make the best dish. Participating in this event gives tickets to our Unity Raffle, as well as rewards for a few lucky contestants!
You don't have to actually cook anything, so no worries if you lack access to ingredients, or if you're like me and somehow burned instant noodles.
The only restrictions are as follows:
• While you must include every "theme ingredient", you're more than welcome to add other ingredients as well! However, every item you use must be a FR item.
• The ingredients you use do not have to be from the 'food' section of FR's inventory! Need salt for your dish? Go for it! Want to put some feathers in your cake? I approve of your creativity.
• There will be a new set of theme ingredients every day during the week of the Unity Fest. You can submit one dish per prompt, for a total of up to seven dishes.
• While I don't see this coming up as an issue, so we have it in writing just in case: Please be courteous to myself, the judges, and other users on this thread.
• Feel free to ping me or shoot me a PM if you have any questions! I'll get back to you ASAP.
Prize drawing:
Prizes will be determined randomly. You earn a ticket for each dish you submit, for up to 7 tickets. 3 bonus tickets are rewarded to the winner of each round.
Please list your prize packs in order of preference - the first person drawn lists one, the second person lists two, and so on. If you win a prize, you have a full day (24 hours) to respond before another player is drawn in your place.
You can win a maximum of one prize pack per player.

[item=Longneck Magi][nextcol]Longnecks are a primarily herbivorous species hailing from the steep cliffs of Dragonhome, though younger generations have also added fish to their diets. In honor of our Longneck friends and allies, our first theme ingredients are:
Longgrass Stalks, which have been a staple of their diet for countless generations. This plant has been relied upon by the Longneck since a time from before the deities awakened from their slumber in the Pillar.
Berry and Nut Trail Bars, a simple but similarly ancient recipe that we hope to breathe new life into tonight. These trail bars are often relied upon as provisions throughout long winters, and have been passed down through generations as a reliable recipe that can be created even when ingredients are scarce.
And, finally, we introduce a new ingredient to balance these two ancient staples: The Leopard Needletooth has quickly become hailed as a delicacy by the adventurous Longnecks who feast on fish. Though abundant in Dragonhome, it's natural camouflage often shields it from would-be fishers, making it a rare treat.
These are your theme ingredients for today! They have been provided in our kitchens, as well as any other ingredient to use in combination with them. We eagerly await for you to share your creations.

To the brave souls who have laid down their masks of war tonight, we thank you for your gesture of trust, and promise we will do all we can to honor it.
Our theme ingredients tonight have been chosen in honor of the Harpies, and they are as followed:
Golden Milkweed, Crushed Petals, and Stonewatch Scrub! All of these have a unique identity in Harpy culture: they both double as food, and a traditional method of creating pigment. Golden Milkweed especially is sometimes dubbed “edible art”, and we hope to see a similar creativity in your dishes today.

To our longstanding partners and new allies, we give our thanks to those of the Centaur beastclan for joining our celebration in the name of peace.
Our ingredients today have been chosen in honor of the Centaur, and they are as follows:
Honey has been used for countless generations as a preservative and a sweetener, but blue honey is special. Produced only by hives of Coral Carpenters, it is regarded as a delicacy among Centaur herds, and often used in important diplomatic dishes.
It is a common misconception among dragon clans that Centaurs are purely herbivorous, when in reality they have relied upon dried meats for decades. A correctly stored pack of jerky can last for a year, making it ideal for winter preparations and long hunting trips, and a staple of their diet.
Lastly, herds hailing from the land of the Arcanist often trade Blood Acorns with more distant herds and dragon clans. They are often included in centaur trail mixes and rations. Their nutrient rich nectar is especially good for foals, but the nectar's vibrant red color can make it tricky for parents to convince their children to eat it.
We once more look forward to seeing how you mix these ingredients with dragon cuisine!

[item=Maren Wavesinger][nextcol]Today, we give our thanks to the Maren who join us in our humble celebration for peace. A word of caution to our contestants: some ingredients used by the Maren contain mild toxins to dragons, so be aware while preparing your dishes today!
Maren are adept at turning would-be predators into prey, and regularly outsmart creatures that historically preyed upon them. Examples of such are the leviathans of the sea, Highfin Sea Serpents! The most skilled and daring of warriors take on these beasts to keep them away from their underwater cities, and in turn a great many dishes can be made from this aggressive creature.
Likewise, Mirage Puffers developed a severe venom to ward off predators. It takes a skilled chef to extract their venom. Maren have adapted a resistance to it due to the common use of poisons in their society, making it a common ingredient in their dishes. We urge our contestants to use caution while handling this ingredient - while it is not life threatening, rest assured we do have medical staff on standby in case of an incident.
Finally, crab meat is a less dramatic but no less important staple of Maren cuisine, with many civilians raising the Seashore Diggers. They feel most at home in vast labyrinths, and the expansive tunnels surrounding underwater Maren cities makes them well suited to raising colonies of this crab.
We once more look forward to seeing your creations!

I hope our festival has been meeting your expectations, and we thank you for our patience as we navigated through any hiccups on our first Unity Festival. Let's move on to today's theme ingredients!
Talonok cooking heavily involves salt, from the simplest to the most complex dishes, and so it only seemed right to include it today. It appears that a dragon's senses require... a bit less salt to attain the desired flavor, so you may wish to adjust your salt content to the judge's palate.
Ringscale Arowana are hailed as a delicacy by dragons and Talonok alike, making it a natural choice for our contest today. Deepsea Yawners are a special ingredient, traditionally prepared by Corven for certain spiritual ceremonies. When properly prepared, dishes containing this fish is said to offer hope and clarity in times of confusion.

[item=Serthis Archivist][nextcol]Welcome, once more, to the sixth day of our Unity Festival! Our ingredients today have been chosen in tribute of the Serthis.
Siltvine can be used in a variety of ways while cooking, with it's most common usage being as a condiment. It grows only in the territory of the Flamescale clan. Likewise, Duskrats are a common food source to the clans who make their homes in the Tangled Wood, where they are used and prepared in a wide variety of ways.
Finally, Delta Orchids represent change and adaptability, as well as the breaking of the status quo. While change can be intimidating, it can also be important - like how we have come together this week in hopes of bringing beastclans and dragonkind together.
Today's ingredients may be a bit more challenging, but we believe in your abilities, and look forward to seeing your dishes!

These beastclan emissaries act as guides in the great trek across the grasslands. Some tribes have allied with dragonkind to earn a steady income of gold.
2300
Welcome, Raptorik and Corven! We thank you for joining us this evening.
You may begin cooking... now!
Raptorik Ringmaster

2500
Wandering Surgepriest
Familiar
Many have wondered when this tengu will finally wander home.
2250
Raptorik Herder
Familiar
Although agriculture and animal husbandry are rare on the savanna, some Raptorik beastclans have developed a way to lure herds into traps and enclosures for easy hunting.

Salt
Minerals & Ores
Never put salt in your eyes.

Ringscale Arowana
Seafood
Prized by fishkeepers, these fish are difficult to keep in a lair that enjoys their seafood.
35

Deepsea Yawner
Seafood
When dried or smoked, the Deepsea Yawner provides an excellent and sustaining jerky for the long haul traveler. Looks wicked gross, though.

Day 6: Serthis
Flamescale Illusionist
Familiar
The Flamescale clan's mysterious magi draw their power from the powerful tectonic activity of the area, culminating in potent spells.
2525
Venomblade Assassin
Familiar
It is often far too late when one notices a Venomblade Assassin in their midst. If you're really lucky, a heap of treasure might turn into a mercenary partnership.
2100
Serthis Archivist
Familiar
Scrollkeepers for the Flamescale clan, these studious serthis are careful to protect their writings from wayward embers and open flames.
2525
Welcome, once more, to the sixth day of our Unity Festival!
Flamescale Venomcaster
Familiar
If the heat weren't enough, the mix of boiling hot poisons will likely take care of any would-be assailant.
2525
Blueband Duelist
Familiar
Though Serthis are dangerous enough with their unmatched cunning and lightning fast reflexes, they're even more deadly with the right weaponry.
2100
Serthis Loremaster
Familiar
As the legend goes: parchment and flame do not mix.
2525
Siltvine
Plant
The ground stems of the siltvine can be used as the last important reagent to activate a bubbling poison, or sprinkled on foods to bring out their flavor. Risk or reward?

Duskrat
Meat
The days are much too bright for the Duskrat, thus they only come out at night.

The plan is to put up a new prompt every day of the week, and you can make a recipe for any of the prompts during the week of the festival. After the week of the festival is up, the judges will choose favorites for each prompt and I'll draw prizes. ^^
If you can't make a recipe today, that's okay, the prompt's still valid for tomorrow!
