Show me your scries and get a shot at that prize. Basically I've got a gen 1 gold/royal/berry that I like, but I'm failing to find inspiration for her genes. So I thought I'd ask for a little help. The cutoff for submissions is Thursday, January 30. Judging should be completed by Feb 1st, and the prize will be delivered via 1 way CR as soon as the winner is determined. 2. Post your scries on this thread. Only one scry submission per person. 3. First come, first serve. If you come up with the same gene combo as another player, only the first one submitted will be considered. 4. No imperial scries. They're gorgeous; I'm poor. 5. Beyond that, go nuts! Gem genes and any breeds other than imp are all on the table. So is leaving parts of her as basic! Don't sweat the tert (if you wanna include it, that's fine, but I really don't care what gets used and what doesn't as long as it looks neat.) I hope y'all have fun! I thought I'd try something without changing her breed, because I absolutely love Nocturnes. I think the Blend ties in well with her primary and Opal goes towards blue-green, which is also found in the Blend portion between the colours. I guess I'm just a sucker for Opal in general too.

She's quite pretty! Here's something matchy I came up with! Gold tapir is really soft with some pink accents that go really nicely with Glimmer, though Capsule is good as well, and Royal Spinner gives a nice yellow at the edge of the wings that I thought was fitting! I love matching accent colors! She gives off a really royal, elegant look, as gold, purples like Royal and Reds are shades often associated with royalty and queens and such!

Shiny wings and body with the underbelly softening it, making use of the regal colours. Not too busy, not too simple.

I wanted the wings to look glossy and grand and I felt the [b]Alloy[/b] gene gave off that look. Since she's royalty, I thought [b]Speckle[/b] since that makes her look more princessy. I picked [b]Underbelly[/b] to even out the colors and finally I thought the [b]Primal[/b] eyes suited her really well. I hope you liked it.... :D

She was really fun to gene! I really like Nocturnes, but to me she looked better as a Pearlcatcher with the genes I chose for her. ^^ I tried a more Earth-y look with stained, to better match her flight element, and I think it worked out pretty good!
