Murder In the House |
The professor's body was found outside of the house. Someone had committed murder. Six unsuspecting dragons were there at the crime scene. One of them is the killer. No one knows what happened, but each one of them has found clues about the incident. They have to work together to discover who is the killer, where the kill took place, and by which weapon. Who will solve this murder mystery? Or will the killer confess to their crimes?
Background
Six dragons were at the house before the crime. A strange cryptid essesse had flooded the town, consuming the minds of the dragons. Next moment they saw his miserable, bloodied body, dragged outside of the house. They could not remember any details of the incident, nor did they have any witness. However, as aspiring detectives, they took the time to analyse the house in search of clues, to derive conclusions based on what they found. Very well, they could be the the one responsible, but had no memory of all that had happened.
How To Play
--> This is essentially an adaptation based off Cluedo.
--> There is a collection of (cards) the dragons, Weapons, and Location.
--> Your goal is to discover who was the killer was, what weapon they used, and where they killed.
--> The Game Master will select a random killer, a random weapon, and random location.
-->The rest of the cards will be redistributed to the players equally. You have to guess what cards the GM has based on the process of elimination of other player's cards.
--> Starting from Player 1, Player 1 visits a Location closest to them, and offers a suggestion.
(Please do not edit the suggestions once you have posted!)
--> The player after player 1, player 2, will show a card secretly to player 1 any one of the cards player 1 has suggested to prove the suggestion false. This will be done via PM.
The GM will announce whether the next player in line has any of those cards. If not, the GM will move on to announce until a player has any one of the suggested cards. (It will go in an ascending order based on your number) When this is so, you will be pinged and you will have to show one of the cards suggested to the player via PM. Once you are done showing the card, allow the other player to confirm this by posting a confirmation here. You can RP this of course.
The card is not shown to public. Other players will not know what the card is. If player 2 does not have any of the cards, the next person will be in line, and so on.
--> When you are being suggested you will be pulled to the location.
--> At any point of the game, during their turn, they can choose to make an accusation.
And check with the GM. If the player gets all of them right, they win the game, if not they are out of the game -- they cannot make anymore accusations or suggestions but can still take part in revealing cards when necessary.
Tip: You can keep a list on the cards you have crossed out to better narrow down the possibilities!
Rules

2. No cheating, do not reveal cards to other players when not permitted by the game, etc.
