I thought this might be a fun way to get some new ideas for your dragons. When you have over 100 dragons it can be difficult to come up with creative lore for all of them. I will participate at random intervals too! Feel free to let others know if the dragon you want them to write for has any relations with other dragons or has a theme to them if you wish. Rules: 1- Pick a dragon from the persons lair that doesn't have any lore. 2- Write a few sentences (or a whole paragraph if you'd like!) For that dragon. 3- You are allowed to ask for a specific dragon to have lore written for it, or you can tell them to pick a dragon from your lair without lore. 4- Claim the person above you so the user after you doesn't snipe them before you get a chance to write the lore. 5- Please spend no more than a day to write-- we want everyone to get a chance to have some lore! 6- Credit other people for the lore they write, it's the polite thing to do. If the person says you don't need to, then that's up to them. ---------------------- For the person below me, please write lore for this gal! She is the head caretaker of the hatchlings of the clans nursery. @Kitsuna020 Claim!

Babysitting may be hard for most, but Mercy could keep a hundred babies around! She is kind and has a soothing voice. She loves to collect seashells and sometimes uses babysitting as an excuse to have more hands to find and carry them! Most of all, she loves reading a good book and will spend hours reading one. Sometimes, she'll read the books to the hatchlings. She spends her free time drinking tea and reading. She has a lake nearby which usually keeps the water dragons happy (and her!) The one thing she would love the most: alone time! Sadly, she's not one to stand up for herself. Oh, well...

He was separated from his old clan and decided to settle at the tsunami flats temporarily, where he took some inspiration from the views around him in designing his own metalcrafts. He created his entire set of apparel, using only some old books he found for directions and the materials he could find around himself. The clan he currently resides in found him while exploring one day, and he decided to join them (as his own clan hadnt been heard from since.) He now spends most of his time crafting for the clan, and exploring nearby for any new goodies for his work, and he's settled in very hurriedly due to his outgoing and friendly nature! He loves seashells, and any fancy shiny stone, and likes to inlay them into his metal pieces. Magic makes him very hesitant, but with some coaxing he can be adjusted to anyone who uses it.

Inspiration Theme: Your World Will Fail - Les Friction

He finds himself drawn to the battlefield and is eager to prove his worth to the prophets as a strong, pragmatic leader. His desire to serve with his mother as a member of the Purgatorium is palpable, but he doubts his worthiness to serve the prophets. He has a dark mind, and can be much crueler than his brother. Thankfully unlike his brother he doesn't care much for violence, and prefers strategy over strength. Though twins, Lupus and Orion couldn't be further apart. Many would assume that as hatchlings Lupus was the dominant twin because of his ego and strength but that was never the case. Orion often manipulated his brothers rage with a small word or slight of hand. After one horrible miscalculation on Orion's part though, Orion was rendered speechless. A pointed act of revenge by the betrayed Lupus. They no longer want anything to do with each other.

He smelt it, coming from the boat, somewhere on the boat. He snuck around, being a dragonet so he could easily get into the cramped corners. Nobody could hide it from him anymore. He made his way to where they must be storing the goodies, and searched, practically flinging things left and right. Anything in his way? thrown, pushed, moved, and occasionally hopped over. Until finally he found it in the upper cabinets, hidden away. He grabbed at it greedily, getting his first taste when suddenly he was pulled by his tail out of the cabinet. He hang upside down with the candy, ironically taffy, hanging from his mouth like a second tongue. He made no effort to get away, the only thing he did was hiss when they reached for the candy. Soon there was no more candy and nothing for the crew to do since he was still a dragonet. They decided he should stay, as long as he didn't eat ALL of the candy next time. He grew up, making sure everybody gets candy. But if anybody wants his taffy, they will have to pry it out of his cold dead talons. ------------------ you see that handsome boi? the one who looks all figured out? he needs lore, someone help-

@KarmaIsNeutral Calling to write lore for Malum! I think I got something for him.
Malum is not a dragon many will understand right away. At first glance, a dragon dressed like this in the Driftwood Drag would be believed to have a twisted soul that performs some kind of foul magic on those who make eye contact with him. Some dragons may not be even able to tell if that skull is on his head or that is even his actual skull. But truth be told: Malum is no twisted soul. He actually found himself able to see the dead at a young age. But he learned that the other lightning dragons he lived with did not see them like he did. They even thought he was crazy. So the fae left them and soon found that many of the dead soon find themselves lost in Driftwood Drag. He headed there himself, figuring he might belong there. And he soon found a dragon who did see the fae's gift. Malum was explained that if he had to power to see the dead, he must first decipher if he was a medium or a spirit bard. Upon failure to speak directly with the dead, the young fae began his lessons as a spirit bard. The dragon taught him medicines to remove the evil in a soul, how to play an instrument, and what melodies were best to help the spirit move on into the next phase it needed to go to. Each day Malum grew as a spirit bard, the more saddened his teacher became. Upon Malum's graduation as a spirit bard, the teacher gave him one final lesson when they were attacked by a diseased centaur. The instructor revealed that the one song that he had warned Malum not to play recklessly was in fact a death song; songs that could separate a soul from a body. The instructor used it to put the diseased centaur out of its misery right in front of the little fae. With the fae's training complete, the old spirit bard soon left Malum, but not without some words of wisdom that the fae holds dear to him. A bard's purpose is to entice the soul of the living. A spirit bard soothes the souls of the dead. Sometimes to soothe a soul is the same as to move it to a greener pasture. Do not use this gift to hurt others for no reason...otherwise no one will listen to your songs. Malum did stray from his instructor in one way. With the constant conflict dragons face every day, he does not mind using his death songs to fight back, especially when he gets attacked. He had figured out new ways to hurt an opponent with them, but not separate their soul from their body. Maybe he has some normal bardic powers as well? That's a mystery he can always solve later.
The dragons I need lore for are Ploybus and Lucifer on my main tab, page 3. Lucifer is a fighter, but that's all I have for him.
