So guys, what inspired the names of some of your dragons? Did you name them after an OC or even completely randomly? I wanna hear your naming stories!

From me, the first dragon I got, Lysandre was named after a certain sombody in Pokemon X/Y. I'M ORIGINAL GUYS!!11! My second dragon, Alphamatic, was named completely randomly. Still don't know why I named her that xD

Voxel and Vector
Chikawa and Hinode
Daft and Punk
Sherlock and John
Synapse and Neuron
Asatte and Ashita
Chaak and Ixchel

Oh, naming dragons is definitely one of my most favourite things to do ;P
I'm always thinking quite a while about the name when I get a new dragon, and I try to make it fit into the background story / personality concept of a dragon. c:
I'm heavily inspired by quite a few things ...
- Greek myths. I guess around 1/3 of my dragons have Greek names? 8D Because they sound incredibly beautiful and I'm more or less familiar with the mythology, so my dragons' personalities are influenced by it as well sometimes.
- Names from the ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, Persia ... more mythology and historic characters.
- Many names are inspired by characters from movies/anime/books which I liked a lot.
- And last but not least I'm using a few names which simply sound nice or have a nice meaning, somtimes even english words like Jellyfish or Honeydew.

I usually go and find the Latin or French version of a simple word like "flower", and make it sound cool. Really, any language that doesn't resemble English too much is good. Otherwise, I just Google some names that fit the dragon. Exalt fodder is named with the randomizer.

I have a little bit of a recurring name theme, featuring names of characters in Tailchaser's Song! (Although I misnamed my progen, who's Mimirsor instead of Mirmirsor.)
