I know that you can sell the Materials and Other in your hoard, but do they serve any other purpose? Do you think FR will ever make it possible for us to use the materials to make other items? Since I am relatively new here I just want to make sure I'm not missing something. :)

TOPIC | What do you do with Materials?
I know that you can sell the Materials and Other in your hoard, but do they serve any other purpose? Do you think FR will ever make it possible for us to use the materials to make other items? Since I am relatively new here I just want to make sure I'm not missing something. :)
The best you can do with some materials is save them up for Swipp's Swap Stand and get something more valuable out of them. Personally, I auction most of my materials off for a bit more than selling them back to the game. :)

I think eventually they might be worked into a crafting feature. That's what I heard, at least. But I amass too much to keep hoarding them until then so I just sell them regardless.

As I understand it, making them useful for Swipp trades and Baldwin's Brew (when it finally launches) is and always has been The Plan. It's just a matter of time.
And until then, selling them straight is always a nice way to boost your treasure.

I treat it as vendortrash. If and when crfting or brewing appearI'll hoard anything relevant to stuff I might actually want to make, but until then... yeah, vendortrash. Only eception is if it's something Swipp gives I might actually want, or if I know others will buy it for Swipp, like with Rose Quartz.
