I love the icewarden with all my heart, I really do, but I want a nice small tight-knit community where (for lack of better words) I fit in. I like to be a part of the team, make good friends, and work hard for dominance if we can ever achieve that.
That being said, I'm also hesitant. What are some of the better flights to join? Mind you, they're all great. :)

If you want tight knit, join Wind! We always welcome new breezybutts. Wind is very high energy, chatty, and we have corgis and parties. We aren't Dom crazy, but we do pushes sometimes. Mostly Profit pushes, but we do work hard. So change to wind!

Well, I can't say much, as I've only been here for a month, but plague definately feels like one big team, especially when we gear up for a dom push! or heck, even something small like a profit push. ^^

I moved from Wind to Light a while back. To me, Wind is a bit too laid-back and don't really go for much other than... Corgis. I love Light! They're very hardworking, although the forums are a bit slow. We're typically known for spreadsheets and Coli grinding. I'm one of those Coli Grinders for sure. Light is very friendly, though we can be very serious at times. I find it more comfortable to be around others who are slightly more serious other than just flat-out bouncy bouncy everywhere lol

So even though Shadow isn't small, here's why I think it would be a great fit for just about anyone:
To start, everyone is really, REALLY friendly. We always welcome people with cookies for coming to the dark side, and often other gifts as well. Any time you post anything, whether it be bragging about something good, ranting about something bad, or just looking to talk to people and have a good time, you are sure to get a response that matches the topic. We often have games/raffles/whatever you want going on, and if you're looking for a game that's not there? Create it and you're sure to get lots of participants. And dom? We're big on dom. And we welcome people from other flights with open arms, and it's really not hard to find and fit into a niche that fits your personality wonderfully.
I'd type more to convince you but I have to go. Anyways, I hope you find what you're looking for, wherever that may be!

I second joining Arcane c: our flight chat room is full of so many great people, we all consider each other friends + we have so much fun! our community is so accepting and friendly, I wouldn't want to be in any other flight. we've also been working very hard recently when it comes to dominance ;)

Beaker Plague isn't a small community, but we are certainly tight-knit. We always look out for each other, whether it's through lending a shoulder to rest on, an ear to listen to your venting and kind words to offer advice or support, or even food for your dragons or treasure to assist with lair expansions (we have programs for both of those things in place!).
Hell, even our Exaltation Elite program can in itself work like a family; you can sign up to be a part of a small group and take on a role (or two, or even work alone; whatever works for you), and help be part of the driving force of our dom efforts!

Arcane's huge, but the community is so close, it's amazing. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and friendly and the forums move pretty fast. And we're getting pretty good at dom, if I do say so myself.
