Flight Rising Discussion

So, I started in Nature. Which was great, but then my friend joined and she chose Light. I had been originally tossing between Light and Nature so the switch was relatively easy for me! Plus, I prefer the light eyes as it goes with more colors.

But now, I'm looking over at Plague. I have no intention of joining but I love the lore, the plague themed dragons and the eye color.
If there was ever a thing such as a sub flight, I would definitely choose Plague.

What would be your subflight? Or, are you thinking of changing?

I love it in Light too much to switch, but if I were to switch I'd either go back to Plague (it was my first flight when I joined), Nature, Water, or Earth. I'm curious about a lot of the flights. XD

Yeah! It's a shame about the cost to switch flights, but of course it's a good thing it's there in order to keep the site clean and preserve lore (flight loyalty etc!)

I started in Lightning, moved to Shadow and am now curious about what goes on in Water, Wind and Fire xD

Yeah, that 1500G charge is a killer. I totally get why it's there, but the side of me that wants to explore all the flights hates it. XD

I liked it in Plague! Everyone there was really nice and friendly, the forums were really active, and of course the Dom was amazing there, though I was still new when I was there so I didn't pay much attention to the Dom stuff. The only reason I switched was because the eyes clashed with my pairs, and I was trying to breed for profit. Now I wouldn't mind them much because I mostly just breed for my own exalt fodder. :P

I won't be leaving Nature, but I do love Plague. The aesthetic isn't one of my favorites even though I enjoy gore... but I just love the community. I'm also big on taxidermy and bones, so the idea of other people with similar interests really appeals to me.

I also quite like Ice and Light's aesthetic.

Hahaha I know how that feels. It'd be cool if there was like...a function where you could take a 'holiday' for one day in another flight, just to get a taste for it.

Same :c and that is like, 3 accents worth so I'd never spend that much on it.
Ah I see! Yeah light eyes are great all rounders, so is ice.
Wow that sounds really awesome! Light flight has a lot of that too. :D
But it's true, there's not much profit to be made in breeding dragons unless you can afford to put new genes on your pairs. orz

@March Oh no, tempting me with plaguuue. I do like the aesthetic of light though hahha I can definitely appreciate shadow and plague too. I like the darker arcane stuff as well, mainly because of my dragon Slumber. Going into hospitals makes me feel faint but the lore does fascinate me and the plague dragons are just gorgeous. I loved Nature when I was in it, I had a whole tree dragon/nature lair (remnants remain towards the back of my lair) But I feel quite committed to light now c:

I'd try out water, ice, or fire for aesthetics/lore.
