Alright so I thought my luck was pretty nice. Been working really hard, harder than I've ever worked for an event. But I start reading all these things like, "you can get an average of 6 chests from the Arena per hour!" and "I got a Noc egg in nine chests - my luck is terrible" and "I've been so lucky. I've been getting about a Noc egg per 4 chests ;^;". And then it kinda just hit me when I went back to look at all the loot I'd personally recorded receiving.


I have opened around 115 chests with only 2 Nocturne eggs. I mean, I thought that was good but now I'm just sad. My friend is away for the whole event so I'm grinding for two people. The least the chests could do is give me a bit of hope?! xD I've gotten a whole set of familliars for my friend, went out of my way to find the funds for an Agol for them and I thought karma would be nice to me but...I've grinded at the Arena for hours during this whole event and only gotten 1 chest from the venue until today (grinded for an hour and a half and got 4 chests). Not to mention, I'm on an iPad because my laptop won't turn on so the lag has reached new levels (and I've lost everything on my computer) :T

So yeah. I thought my luck was amazing but now I'm just sad and drowning in 20 clone familairs that no one will trade.

Am I just being dramatic? Does everyone have this kind of luck? Make me feel better...or worse idk? :P

I haven't gotten a single noc scroll yet but I know my luck isn't bad. I've gotten seven eggs this event, and gave away two of those to some friends.

Full set of conjurer apparel and every familiar + extras.

I've been having incredible luck in the woodland path, and decent luck in the scorched forest, Harpys roost and forgotten cave. Maybe try switching out of the arena? If anything it'd be a change of scenery lol.

mine was good , I found and sold enough chest for a arcane sprite and a fire sprite an now am just opening them for fun .

SEVEN?! Damn I wish I was in your position. My aim at the start of the event was to get at least that many.

In all honesty though, I have been able to trade my clones for the things I needed. Both my friend and I have a full set of familairs and I have more of the event apparel than I need xD But the most disappointing thing is, I've waited all year for the event because last time I'd just joined and my luck was also terrible. I really wanted to get some Noc eggs this event to make up for last year ;-;

I've gotten quite a few chests from Boreal Wood and Harpy's Roost which is nice, in fact, they might have been the venues that gave me my lovely Noc eggs.

I also gave one of my two Noc eggs to my friend, hatched it for her on Christmas as a little gift. Karma still hasn't been kind back though...

A lot of people are sticking to the lower level venues, ie the Woodland Path, that Burning Forest whose name I can never remember, and the Sandswept Delta. The reason is because it is lower level, you can blow through enemies faster and grab chests quicker. They seem to appear more and dodge less as well so you can get 3 chests per hour (what I'm averaging) no problem. Also the Woodland Path has both items for the Swipp trade so that's a bonus.

Aw man, one day I really want an Arcane Spirte! You're lucky you're only opening them for fun. I really wish I was in the position to say that. I've been waiting a whole year for this event (joined last Dec and had newb results xD) since the Nocs are my favourite breed but it's proving to be a bit underwhelming.

I joined last Dec reg so I was in your position a year ago. The only reason why I'm so ambitious to get eggs is because of my poor results last year but it isn't looking too good for me is it ;~;

Thanks for the advice! I'm doing all I can to pick up chests form everywhere but there's only so much I can do with the time I've been given.

So what famillairs are you missing? :)

I certainly started out in the lower venues but moved to places like Boreal Wood and Harpy's Eoost after I wasn't extremely successful :)

I've gotten a few eggs, but I've given them all to Purnip (minus the first, which I traded for some apparel I was missing), since every breed but Mirrors is unacceptable. I have most of the familiars and I'm just missing most of the fake bears. At this point, I think the odds are against me for opening chests and getting new things, so I probably will just buy what I have left to get.

I'm having a far better time than last year, though!

I've been getting around 4-8 chests a day from various activities between gathering, coli, baldwin, swipp, etc. Less now that I ran out of a few baldwin materials.

I have so far collected every familiar, between the chests and trading duplicates, and just like you I only have 2 noc eggs! So it isn't just you I think it is just a rare item.
