They/them pronouns thank you
@ikilintu
I don't like the half human/ half animal familiars. I dont know why but I kinda dislike them. I image my dragons living in a world without humans so it feels weird to see centaurs, snake people and stuff :3
But creepy familiars are for me the Residue's

They smile and yet they still look sort of evil. They look like the sort of things in horror movies that will get you when you're sleeping.

@ikilintu [item=baku] [item=dreameater][item=longneck scholar][item=extinguished jackalope][item=painted marionette]
To varying extents. All spooky. The Baku and Dreameater less so when you realise they're actually small rodent sized.
Baku are able to walk both the physical and ethereal plane.

Dreameater
Familiar
Despite its fearsome appearance, having a dream eater visit you in your sleep can be a boon, as it will consume your nightmares.

Longneck Scholar
Familiar
Though most Longnecks take up tools of the land, some seek higher forms of learning, opting to lead intellectually.
2750
Extinguished Jackalope
Familiar
Jackalope ensnare bits of dry debris to burn when they forage in dangerous terrain. After this fuel has burned out, the jackalope is vulnerable to predators.
1800
Painted Marionette
Familiar
A dancing, skittering dragon puppet, moving without a puppeteer. Or is it?

Are those stones. Sticking in its sides. Both of these are finally awakened and are never leaving the vault.

After almost 2 years the tails still creep me out.

These just give me general unpleasant "get off my lawn" vibe.
@ikilintu (oop turns out it's large rodent, but I still reckon that's not bigger than a cat even in dragon-land?) it's not explicitly stated but they drop these:
[item=small ribcage]
on occasion.

Small Ribcage
Organics
The mostly-intact ribcage of a large rodent. Its light coloring indicates that the animal may have been quite dormant.
55
on occasion.
Dude I walked into this thread thinking I would be weird for being uncomfortable with the trunkers, I'm so glad other people feel the same lol
