Do you adhere to some kind of naming pattern/trend for your dragons? If so, what is it?
I personally do use a naming scheme for most of my dragons (however I'm probably gonna start naming my exalt fodder to a lot of weird stuff) and I'm very curious to see if other people do as well.

I name all my exalt fodder the same way to keep the parent lists more neat. Random mismatching names bother me a bit - but I risk that selling offspring.
Other than that I REALLY like Unnamed dragons. Sometimes though I brainfarted and named a keeper accidentally cause they looked like their exalt fodder children. Now I have to work with reanming them Unnarned. (Thank you anonymous player for showing me this lovely workaround for the stupid name filter)

I name most of my Flight Reps after Greek Gods that correspond with that element one way or another. Other than that, I usually head over to google translate and translate related words into Latin. I'm well aware that Google Translate isn't reliable, so a lot of times I'll take my own play on the words. But I have fun doing it!

All of my dragons names are taken from lists of specific fruit and veg cultivar lists. It all started when I named my progen Butternut and my random progen Honeycrisp, and took off from there.
So far I have onion, apple, melon, squash and pepper cultivar names. The more dragons I get, the more lists I need to reference for varieties that actually work as names...

Latin, and Greek gods mainly. Sometimes I'll just pick a really fancy sounding-name!

All of my dragons' names are Slavic!
There are a few outliers, but they're mostly there because I thought the names were too neat to change. :')

All mine (Bar my progens and their daughter) are named after computer/programming terms.

Most of my drake names are from this dictionary.

I try to keep them similar to the dragon, while mashing two names together. A lot of them aren't that pretty sounding. (Both drakes and names XD)

I wouldn't say I have a particular
scheme but I look at the meanings of names and try to pick one that fits the dragon. (or is sometimes the polar opposite of the dragon)
However offspring are a little different. Most of my hatchlings wind up as fodder which I send off in batches to a friend in Wind and we split the profits. Because of that I usually have to name them fast once they become adults and before I send them over. So I usually come up with a scheme based on one or both of the parents.
For example: All of Diego's kids are named after stars or their name means "star".
Gazer had two boys who I named Rosencrantz and Guildenstern,
Victor had a nest of three which I named Wynken, Blynken and Nod.
Saturn and Rhea's last nest all looked like they were covered in algae, so I gave them the scientific names of red, green and brown algae based on their colors.
Laputa's three kids were named after lost cities: Mu, Atlantis and Xanadu.
Etc.
So, unless I mix up the parents, most of my offspring lists have a theme. And since I name all my hatchlings before selling or exalting I only really have to worry about people changing names after they buy, but I don't mind that at all. If I'm
really attached to a string of names then I'll probably keep them off the AH and make sure their exalted with the names I picked.
