i would've exalted both progens if it wasn't for my customs tert color. I'm rly lucky with that, it's not avocado or tomato or something equally bad
Dude just buy (nature? 1st flight) eggs, and hope for the colors that you would've probably picked (knowing ur fave colors then) and treat them like a progen
Or just go on dragons wanted and look for g1s born on the day u joined

My custom progen has a mediocre tert but I'll live.
My random progen was scattered a few times, and had she not been level 25, she would have been exalted. I scattered her after the colorwheel expansion and I regret nothing.
She's gorgeous now

I exalted my random back in 2013. His name was Rosethorn and he was a gray/magenta/carmine guardian and I regret exalting him so bad. He would have been a perfect scatter project, but scatterscrolls didn't exist back then.

I have feels for the users who exalted their progens, but to be fair sometime you get ugly ones. My random is also ugly. Then I hatched my first unhatched egg for a new mate for my custom... she was perfect, except her spring tert lol. Green terts haunted me when I first began playing!

This is why I always caution players not to exalt their progens when they ask if they should. I see so many stories like this. I don't think I could ever exalt mine. Just thinking about it makes me cringe. :c
I do wish the one free unexalt we get wasn't time sensitive. I know quite a lot of people who would get one of their progens back.

Zihette I occasionally plug his ID (53193) into the scrying shop to see what he would have looked like with gene/breed changes. My favorite so far has been speckle/shimmer/underbelly, but I haven't checked any of the newer genes yet.
