basically , what kind of weird clan laws/rules do you have? is it that there is one specific breed of dragon not allowed in the lair? Or is it a specific item that you may never own?

I for example , decided to keep the rule of never having any other female mirrors besides my progen. dont remember why i chose to do that but im sticking to it.

@Sukeisu

Any perma dragons must be level 10 minimum
No dark-colored dragons, except for Sitka (progen) and Halo (which is part of her lore). My clan's hierarchy is based on the most brightful to the least
Absolutely no breeding
And never have more than three pages full in my lair. I try to keep under two.

All my permas must have lore and a job! No lollygagging here in BrightShadows, we must keep our travelers entertained while they're here!
(currently behind by 6 dergs...)

Nightshadow shall only breed with Reran
Shadria shall only breed with SonicBoom

The dragon I made in honor of my mom...Onzie...shall never breed...

In-character/RP esque rules:
Stay out of Mariya's room. Seriously. She requires her space.

No hatchlings in the kitchen after midnight.

No additional Fae after the butterfly net incident.

Mariya is supposed to be in charge, but Aita will boss you around. Good luck fighting the giant imperial jerk on anything :P.

Personal:
No mirrors (I just don't care for them.)

Aurora and Alexander will never, ever, ever be bred. Ever.

Gen1s only (for lore reasons) and all of them have to be trained to lv25 as soon as possible after growing into adulthood. :) Oh and only 1 male and 1 female of each breed. I currently have more pairs than there are breeds, so I do have doubles of the plentifuls, but when more breeds are released I will first breed-change my existing dragons, and once I run out, I'll start adding new ones to the family :)

I try to keep my number of imperials down to a minimum because I like to follow their lore. I have five, but one is constantly traveling and tries to avoid clan territory.

Fae are generally thought of as superior because both my progens and the current clan leader are all Fae. More respected, more likely to have more powerful positions.

Females have more power, and are seen as dominate.

My biggest clan rule I have is I will never own a male ridgeback or any tundras unless I plan on breed changing them or they're being used for fodder. I've tried and tried but I can't get myself to like those for some reason xD

I guess the only other rule I have is that the dragons have to be organized based on their character; I don't view my clan as one big clan or anything like that so there's going to be lots of smaller clans and individuals roaming around. As I create characters for them I just bunch them together with the proper groups so I can easily find them!

Any dragon may, on occasion, engage in military training. That is fine, and having members that can defend themselves if necessary gives the specifically military-minded dragons more flexibility with the defenses.

However, if a dragon wants to focus on military training to the point where it is a significant part of their role in the Clan, they must be teamed with two other dragons. There must be two physical fighters and one mage, and said mage must have at least a modicum of healing ability. A team is always trained together, and the Clan will wait to start ANY of the three dragon's training until a satisfactory group of three has been assembled.

The only exception to this rule is Grandmama Aoife, the Clan Matriarch who will only use her long history of combat skill in the direst of situations. She is, after all, retired.

As for RP-esque 'laws', my clan isn't really a cohesive clan, anyways, but they have a few 'rules' in place.
-Most positions of power are held by female dragons. The only male dragons with high positions, power-wise, are Aurelia and Hemlock. Aurelia is a sort of 'behind the scenes puppetmaster' with a good deal of power, and Hemlock only has power because his mate, Belladonna, is incredibly powerful.

-All hatchlings, especially those of 'royal blood', must be accompanied by Albion or Icarus at all times (those two guard nests and such)

Those are just the first two that come to mind. Given that my clan isn't really cohesive, and has a pretty tyrannical government, there are plenty of ridiculous laws and such. If that makes any sense at all.

Outside a lore perspective, I try to limit the amount of tundras I have. Really, it's because I don't really like tundras all that much, but in lore it's because the desert environment of the Shifting Expanse isn't too great for them.

All babies hatched must leave the nest and be sold/exalted.
All.
Skorn doesn't like them babies.
