Yo, what up guys? So, I recently sold off one of my dragons for a high price, hoping that it would go to someone who actually wanted it, but even at the price I put her at, she still got exalted; and I think all of us who are non-exalt lairs know the frustration and disappointment when one of your babs (^w^) gets exalted. Anyway, that prompted me to think, "Hey, maybe there are other people out there who have dragons to sell, but also don't want them to be exalted, but have no way of ensuring that they're selling to a non-exalt lair -- Which, honestly, unless you're using crossroads, there's really no way of knowing... UNLESS they have a whole bunch of people who they KNOW aren't going to exalt their dragons! So, basically, this post is just a big "CALLING ALL NON-EXALT LAIRS!" message!

If you're a non-exalt lair, and either are interested in buying other dragons from lairs like yourself, or want to sell dragons to non-exalt lairs, leave a message on this post, so I (and probably anyone else who comments prior or thereafter) can add you as a friend, and know that their dragons are going to a good home! :D

@Sansyfresh I am a sort of exalt lair, but I only use reeeeally cheap dragons as fodder. If I'm interested in one of your dragons and decide to buy it, I promise I won't exalt it :O

@Hydria Awesome! Thanks for letting me know! I tend to sell my dragons cheap, mostly because I usually don't have space to accommodate them all, but if you see one you like, name a price!

Please don't add me as a non-exalter, because I am def an exalter.

I'm just wondering how do-able that goal really is? Are you really going through your entire stay on the site without exalting a single dragon? I know I could never do it. I've had several dragons I loved for months and suddenly went like... meh with.

I think my main question is, what do you do when you finally run out of lair space?

If a non-exalt lair existed, it could never take in new dragons unless it got other non-exalt lairs to trade dragons with them. Once those also run out of space, new non-exalt lairs would be required for everyone in the system to continue playing.

Therefore, "non-exalt lairs" are a Ponzi scheme.

Not to rain on your parade and all.

I usually only buy dragons I'm interested in, so I rarely sell ones I buy. The only dragons I exalt are hatchlings that I don't want to keep/sell or dragons for Dom.

Definitely an exalt lair, but only for super cheap dragons. Haven't had any time or space to profit exalt in the first place lately RIP. If I'm spending lots of shiny monies on your dragon, best believe I'm keeping them for a long time!

And dressing them.

And going broke buying them stuff to wear.

And making a story for them.

Etc, etc. xD

I'm a non-exalter, but I rarely get new dragons anyways.

I exalt lots of dragons to make money, but it's always my own babies from fodder pairs, or fodder I bought off the AH (I never buy adult fodder for more than 9000 treasure).
If I adopt or buy a dragon from a hatchery, I will definitely keep it. I usually only buy fandragons with very specific colors, pretty dragons to go with the accents I buy, or dragons whose lore I fell in love with. And I always write lore. And buy them apparel.
I've been on this site for almost a year and just got to the Ancient Lair stage, and I'm always saving for my next expansion since I keep buying pretty dragons x')

I do exalt dragons, but mostly only the ones I bred myself or older ones I've had for a while that don't fit into lore.
But if I buy a dragon off the auction house, it probably means it's a keeper!
