So I was writing last night and had some trouble. "How do the armies In each flight differ?"
First of all we've got the Icewarden. Ice WARDEN. Dude's totally a tyrant. Is that why Ice flight hates outsiders I wonder?
then Shadowbinder. She's more of a Covert ops ttype of girl. Armies of this flight do EVERYTHING through spies and assasins.
The Plaguebringer is probably the most obvious choice for warmonger. She's got all these soldier that just.. throws up on people.. aint even Kill 'em... just.. gross em out..
The Gladekeeper Has all these Tirbal looking Warriors. They wear cultural masks and stuff to help them protect thier territories.
The Stormcatcher Probably has the most advance armies. All orderly and stuff. The only one with a real hierarchy down to each and every soldier. Advanced weapons and engineering. Boss.
That's all I have for now. Tell me what you think they're like!

Plague I'd put as saboteurs. Drooling in the water supplies, sending waves of toxic gas and airborne viruses out over their opponent's armies. Harassing the edges, the supply chains, corroding vital crossing points so they collapse under their opponents.

I cried at the strong Faes
Light would have an orderly army with paladin-like devoted soldiers. They would proclaim they bring peace and radiance to the distressed peoples, but in the end it would be all about conquest.
Water would use divination and therefore have the best military intelligence (on par with stealthy Shadow)... Wait, what Water flight?
Fire would have cutting-edge (hah) equipment - armour and weapons, possibly some war machines. And explosives. And their armies would just march forward and leave everything as smouldering ruins. Ok this sounded more vicious than I imagine Fire flight as.
Wind would excel at manoeuvres. They would avoid direct combat and try to exhaust their adversary, or take advantageous positions. Their troops would be lightly equipped and nimble.
Earth would just outlast anything. Or move slowly but surely, like a boulder that can't be moved out of its way.
