Ok so almost 2 years ago I became an all skydancer lair ...100% all skydancers so this means if I have a perm they are or will very soon become a skydancer. So I wanted to open up a conversation about one breed lairs and hope it will get some traction and debate.
Some Questions to start out
1-Do you have a one breed lair- if not would you ever ?
2-What Breed would/did you choose for a one breed lair?
3-How does it effect your lore?
4-why did you chose to be a one breed lair?
5-why would you not be a one breed lair?
6-should there be a one breed lair organization/board.
also feel free to suggest more questions for me to post or ask me about my lair.

5. I like way too many types of dragons. limiting to one would just be missing out on the variety.
6. might depend on how many people actually have one breed lairs.
Also the fae would beat me up.. they outnumber the mirrors

1 - Ah, no, I don't, and I don't think I would. I love diversity, both for aesthetic purposes and for lore (my clan takes in everyone that comes to them and everyone is welcome to stay, as long as they want, for as long as they want)
2 - If I haaaaad to? Spirals, Ridgebacks, or Coatls, probably in that order. I love all three beeds and I could make some interesting lore about a One Breed lair with those species, I think. I wouldn't mind reading lore about any though - Mirrors, Guardians, hey, just throw your lore at me.
5 - See above. Aesthetics, and lore. But mainly because I wouldn't resist the impulse to buy all the pretty dergs from all breeds
6 - ...Noooo, not really. They are not too diffused and talked about for an entire board, or even a sub-board. But I would love to see a board.
What interests me in one-breed lairs is their lore (apart from HOW DO YOU MANAGE, PLAYERS). What would a clan full of Skydancers be like? I'm having fun imagining a clan of Mirrors being more like a pack, and a clan of Guardians all having each other as Charges in a complex Charge-Guardian mess :'D

2- Bogsneaks!
3- I never really had any detailed or in depth lore so not at all.
4- I'd actually quit Flightrising! Yup, I'd gotten bored, I didn't really have any friends on the site and wasn't really involved in anything in particular to keep my attention or interested enough to stay. But then BOGSNEAKS came out and I fell in absolute love so I'm back again and seeking a way to tie myself into the community a little, perhaps? Something to help make me stick around.
5- I might change from a one breed lair if ONLY because you get more eggs if you crossbreed dragons than if you breed two of the same species. Plus my second favorite breed are Guardians and third are Skydancers and I'm weak.

its funny though ..I see lots of one color lairs especially white or gold or back but not many one breed ...and I would find a single or even a double color lair kind of boring ...
My lair has a lot of lore .... the skydancer thing is not entirely by choice...see a really bad thing happened that killed a lot of skydancers here and allowed their blood to seep into the soil ...so muh so that it created an aura and eventually a consciousness . Now every dragon that comes into the lair and stays for a while starts to change into a skydancer ..if they leave soon enough the changes will stop and they will return to normal ...but if they stay for long enough they will be a skydancer forever.
They are like a really intelligent flock of parrots / macaws . they have a full society...wild but sophisticated...but they preen and bond creating small close groups within the flock ...

1- Sorta? I have a pretty strict thing about Imperials and... just Imperials. Anyone else is there for a breeding project usually. I do like Wildclaws though!

4- I just love Imperials, and it's easy to feed everyone.
