For example, I name all of the guys Chrom

I usually either name exalts something greek or something to grace the parent's offspring list because I'm crazy enough to go out of my way to do so

I breed my own exalt fodder, so if I named them all the same thing their parent's list would be nothing but that name. Which, now that I think about it, would be pretty funny.
Most of the time I give them wind/weather related names, since I am a Windie. Otherwise I just go with whatever pops into my head.

I'm a profit exalter so I name all my fodder things like 'thregee' and 'fork' (three gems/4k) so I can keep track of my profit and loss ratio. Dragons I hatch myself get random names since they're free.

If I grab solo fodder, I name them Limitless (it's a song I really like and now it's a habit) but if I pick up siblings then I have some fun and give them a group theme name.

For exalting stuff, I go with whatever not exactly weird name I can find. Shouldn't be too bad to name fodder the same thing over and over again unless they're siblings.
I have my own fodder pair where I can make silly names, but I kind of feel bad for the owners of their parents because mom is MoistChunks and dad is SoggyBranFlakes.

my fodder pairs have specific names, but unnamed fodder that i pick up usually gets named a color they have or 'Rice'
