I currently have a fodder breeder pair, a lot of lair space for fodder, and sometimes if I find decent-looking cheap dragons I check Find A Dragon to see if anyone wants it.
Bonding with familiars also works. Cheats are worth it.
During holidays, sell materials required for the Baldwin-exclusive skins and the 20-fest currency recipie. Or just sell the festival currency you make at the start, where prices are higher.
Using all of those skills, I made more than 100k treasure in one day.

I didn't have internet for months and months when I moved, but I could access parts of the site at work. So, I could bond with familiars and hoard sell and gather and exalt hatchlings, but the forums/marketplace/basically anything else wouldn't load. So, I stopped spending altogether for a very, very long time, but I kept making a teeny bit at a time. Whee.
Then immediately after getting internet, I purged a bunch of my older lore dragons to make room for new, exciting colors and stuff.
Next thing you know? Money. Though I'll blow through it, haha. I'm TERRIBLE when it comes to fictional treasure because I have to be so careful with my real money. Gotta treat myself somewhere, I guess.

Step one: Make sure you have a whole ton of available lair space
Step two: Wait until massive dom battle
Step three: On the first day, fill your lair up with hatchlings, no spaces left
Step four: Sell all the adult fodder on the last day of the battle
Step five: Profit

There isn't a "EZ rich button"
I make my money via exalting. I coli grind a lot, so of course, I get a lot of nice drops (Good battlestones, so many familiars, eggs). Coli grinding itself is very, very profitable.
I resell my good stuff for gems, and with these gems, I buy exalt fodder, which I train myself. I make profit, more during festival weeks, but even outside of these weeks, the profit is very, very worthwile.

Today, if I am going at the pace I'm at, I'm making a minimum of 150K profit.
This is for today alone, btw, and this doesn't include selling the coli drops I got (got a vista about ten minutes ago) and the Baldwin mucks I have
