So I was scavenging when I came across a plague egg! I decided to sell it because I hadn't had much luck with the RNGeezus. Right after is sold (3 days later) I went scavenging again and came across my first Earth egg!!! What luck! I figured this was a sign so I decided to hatch it rather than sell again. Holy crap.....
