So I noticed in someone's signature there were pets from another site called "eggcave," always one who's interested in seeing fantastical creature designs I decided to check it out.
I was looking through the various creatures when I found this:

It's apparently called a Gellit.
Remind you of anything?

Now I am by no means saying anyone is copying anyone.[b] I repeat I am 100% sure nobody copied anyone.[/b] I am going to say this [i]three[/i] times because I believe it so much, nobody copied anyone. I just noticed they're frogs with similar colour schemes.
There are plenty of reasons why these two creatures are different, including a lack of fins and a shorter tail on Gellits and a lack of fungus on Ruffletail Tadhops. not even mentioning the lore difference (Ruffletail Tadhops are vicious, Gellits are apparently friendly).
Has something like this happen two you? With two unrelated sites having slightly similar pets?

I've seen similarities all over the place from one site to another. It's part of the human psyche to find similarities to other familiar objects. Online would be no different. It's just like looking at the clouds in the sky and seeing images. It could be colors, or basic outline, or whatever.

As I stated three times in my post, I do not believe flight rising or eggcave copied each other. I truly and completely believe it's just an interesting coincidence. Their are far too many differences for it to be actual copying.
