The team here at Stormlight Workshop wanted to make a quick statement.
We wanted to provide an apology if a few things slow down in the short term; two of our team members, @Akiri and @Arahtim are both in areas that will be significantly impacted by the passage of Hurricane Irma. They are both taking the appropriate steps to maintain the well-being of themselves, their families, and their communities, and we are hoping very much that as damaging as this storm is going to be, that they make it through this crisis safely. @Akiri himself will be participating in first responder efforts in Florida to help those that are affected find shelter.
Our team's thoughts and support are with both of them and all those who are doing their best to get through a very bad situation. I'm sure our feelings are amplified by the many thousands of you who are part of the Flight Rising community.
And to all of our players and volunteers who have been affected by the storms this season: we urge everyone to cooperate fully with response teams and authorities to stay safe. The strength of this storm cannot be overstated. We are hopeful that everyone will come out of this unharmed, and that the recovery effort is smooth and swift.
