Hello! I’ve been wanting to make my art better, and since I have a 2 week holiday, I can draw... a lot! But I never have any ideas as to what to draw and so I though - would am art shop be what I need?
I’m a traditional artist (due to lack of equipment) and I don’t do colouring either that much. I mostly do pencil sketches or (badly) inked pieces. Though with my lack of supplies, perhaps this could work out?
I need opinions.
1. Should I open up a shop?
2. What should I price these things for? (I’m trying to earn gems for projects)
3. Any tips for making the shop, like any at all?
Below are some pieces to give you an idea of my skills. Note: these were for drawing forum threads so they have lack of effort and are pretty stupid. (Sorry for the big sizes)

I think a shop might be the wrong approach - what you need is inspiration rather than work for hire and if you're still working on improving your skill then running a shop is the wrong approach as chances are you won't be totally happy with what you are selling
Instead you can always get inspiration from looking at what you enjoy or just asking for ideas within certain subjects (eg dragons or fantasy or nature or buildings etc..)

Definitely! You might find that you really enjoy running an art shop. However, I don't have much experience on pricing art, so you might want to experiment and look at other art shops as examples. Sorry I don't have any tips for running one either, but I'm sure some other larger art shops on Flight Rising would love to give you some advice

Great advice! Perhaps you’re right - however I do want to provide art for people. Should I just do somewuickt sketches for free, then? Wouldn’t a shop just a mini service for whoever wants sketches. Would that be a better, more right approach?

Yes, I have been lurking around the art sales forum and checking out what other people have to offer. But sadly, instead of paying attention and getting inspiration for ideas on shops I instead felt sudden urges to buy some art.

I would make one if you really want to and feel like you're ready to. Art shops are quite a good way to make gems and treasure, but I have no idea for pricing since the only shop I've ever owned is a hatchery. Its good to know basic BBcoding also, to make sure you can code your shop and its easy to read, you can mess around on one of your dragon's bio to get the hang of it or ask players about it (

Based on your current skill I'd say just do it for the fun of it. You're working to improve can already recognise that you've got a fair way to go before your'e at a good skill level.
Start a shop once you see yourself producing something you'd want to buy; once you honestly see yourself producing something of good quality. This might take some time, but you'll get there if you keep working at it.
