Does anyone know the equations used to predict genes? I think I'm on the verge of it but I just can't get it and could really use some help. I'm making a gene predictor for a project that my sis is working on. (Also I hope this isn't against the rules).

TurkeyRaptor unless i'm misinterpreting you here, it's just a rarity percentage thing. two genes in the same category will have a 50/50 chance of showing up against each other and so on. you can see the odds
here.
if it means anything, there's also
this hatchling probability calculator.

I'm not smart on the math myself, but
here's the user-calculated guide to gene rarity, and
here's a popular "breeding card" generator you can use to calculate probability. You can enter the genes, breed, and colors of any given dragon pair to determine the chances of what they'll pass down to their offspring.
The probability is manually calculated by users without use of datamining or a direct site connection, so an off-site predictor not against the
ToS. The Keelanrosa generator probably has everything you need.
EDIT: Ninja'd!

Thanks it helps a little and got me slightly closer but its not quite fully what I need.

I'm very curious as to what you mean?
@
TurkeyRaptor Are you predicting gene outcomes in pairs? Or trying to data-mine for what the next gene release is going to be?
If it's the latter... uh... We usually don't know until staff announces or it shows up on the scrying workshop.
Also due to it being art heavy, it's most likely not gonna show up in the site code until they're ready to release it and usually *during* rollover is when they upload it all to the site.

This website functions pretty well as a gene predictor, though if you're looking to make your own, I think you'd want to do some research on finding weighted probabilities in JS/another language of your choice; I don't think there's a particular 'equation' for it than so much as some fairly basic code. ^^;

And everyone else
Im not datamining Flight rising. My sis runs a DA group for these small ferret like boys and wants to be able to just have probability of what the gene outcome is
I know how to name ranges which is like giving a number a name to go by
Here is the sheet Im working off of
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1XgJ3wYtkeBMfPfwOt2ZzLk6geVqW_-B2r7FlrUEDLJg/edit?usp=sharing
And I also have probabilities of like genes based on rarity.
