I'm finally working on bios for my dragons, which is going to take ages. But the main goal is to give lore to everyone, and if I can't, they likely have to leave. Hopefully this helps me purge my lair.

Ugh...always. I have so much that's just in my head right now that needs to actually get typed out.
I always procrastinate doing it, though, because it always sounds so much better in my head than it does when I actually go to write it down. xD Very self-conscious about my writing. ;w;

Loblolly - I am. I finally decided on a new format for my bios and am slowly editing them all. Plus, I'm trying to add some little bits to them. Its times like these that I wish I had a small clan.
I hope yours goes well and that you can find some dragons that are ready to move on to new adventures outside your lair. =D

I only have half of my first page ;w;
I finally started working on my lore about a month ago. I've started a challenge with my siblings where we have to write at least 500 words every two weeks and show each other what we've written, so we can all keep each other accountable.
It's helped me with lair-purging since it helps me figure out which dragons I really like and which ones I'm just very used to. If I genuinely like them, information about them tends to come very naturally to me.
To make bio-writing less time consuming, I've resorted to only writing out the essentials in my dragon bios, in a mostly non-poetic manner.
I have their lore more fleshed out in my head and in the stories I write with them anyway.
So, when someone looks in my dragon bios, they get a general idea of what my dragon is like, without having to go through a lot of text or try and make sense of fancily-structured sentences.
I haven't done it for all my dragons yet, some of them still have their "fancy" biographies, but I think I'll get to it eventually hmm
