So, I remember NoTN from two years ago that was a fest of chests. I got over 20 eggs and several scrolls.
This one just suck. Nice apparel that anyone can buy but its eggs and scrolls I am after. You know, I grinded Crystal Pools for 2 hours straight and I got like 3 chests. Gathering got me one chest in 18 turns.
It doesn't feel like fest anymore. Compared to two years ago, it is simply nothing.

I feel you :( I’ve gotten 2 chests so far total. At least the apparel and familiars are amazing though!

I can't speak for 2 years ago since I wasn't here, but I've gotten about 5 chests in less than 20 mins in sandswept delta, you could try grinding a bit there!

tbh I agree, coli can really be a hit or miss (I guess they never miss, huh) I have had some luck with the Sandswept Delta but I haven’t found any eggs or breed changes which sucks. Plus the drop rate really isn’t all that high. Baldwin’s brew has been good to me though

I didn't participate last year, but personally I didn't have too much trouble with chests. The problem may be the venue, as I got like 2 chests from the Thunderhead Savanna but a lot of chests from the Rainsong Jungle. Hope this helps in some way :)

Aw I'm sorry to hear that. :( I'm sure you've heard this advice a thousand times before, but maybe lower leveled venues will give you a better chest outcome?

I got a total of about 42 chests yesterday, and as of right now I've got 55 (so 13 additional chests after about 2 hours of grinding). Crystal Pools have been really good to me lately, so give that venue a try if you haven't already!

I haven't reached Crystal Pools, yet -- I'm trying to get ten chests from every venue so I have 200 to open -- but I've spent four hours in Forgotten Cave and gotten 0. The others, from Training to Blooming had their slow patches, but I swear, Forgotten Caves is chest-less.
