It is pretty. It and the Prismatic Meditate are also things rich people can buy to fancy up their Coliseum dragons if they wish.

While there is no advantages to Silverglow Meditate or the Prismatic Meditate over regular Meditate - they do look different and some people like that aesthetic.
I have lore for one of my meditated dragons that they shoot sparkles out of their claws because of their Silverglow Meditate! It's all in what a player wants for their dragon, and while it might be pointless to some, it may not be to others. It's all about variety and options!

Same reason why one would choose a pretty level 25 over a not-so-pretty level 25. Functionally they are the same, but one is more enjoyable to look at. The blue matches some dragons, but for others the silverglow matches their colours much nicer.
