I don’t understand. Flightrising gets constant updates, wonderful one, some meh, some with some hate, and I think we need to understand how hard it is to code a game like this. We should atleast try to be more positive, and not go eww I hate this as much.
The staff work hard on this. I am in the same boat as you quite a bit but why do we need ‘useful’ apparel when it’s april fools?
I don’t want to sound mean, you do you but are you expecting some serious not goofy, not April fools day thing?
I agree, the masks aren’t practical, but they’re fun! April fools day is fun, marvas fun, that’s what they are for!

I mean, to be fair the sweaters and eyes 'functioned' better. I wouldn't be super pessimistic, everyone understands the hard work going into it, it's just sometimes we aren't that satisfied with the results. I haven't seen anyone straight up hating the masks- as far as I know, people love them, and are just saying they don't go great as apparel per se?

I remember the "oh. that's it?" I felt when the sweaters were revealed. Just give people some time to get used to the masks, and if they still don't like it after a while there's other stuff on FR for them to enjoy.

Yeah april fools stuff has never been particularly big, except for the invisibility cloaks... My only complaint is the size of the masks make them clip through a lot of stuff, but they are supposed to be comical in that way so I'm not mad or anything.
Just give people some time and it will calm back down, it always does aha

Personally, I can't stand the masks, and I'm glad I sold my kit yesterday. But, plenty of others do, and I'm perfectly content with that. Yes, I was hoping for a new breed, but that could always happen another time. Besides, it's April fool's! And the event was very fun!

That is sadly how things go really. Not everybody can be pleased. The masks were cute, yeah. In the end I sold mine for some nice, nice dough considering I don't tend to make joke dragons.

I've only seen one thread, maybe? There isn't much hate, just overhype that ended with a little dissatisfaction. The masks seem to be well-liked, they just seem kind of niche and didn't really live up to the hype some people were unwisely drumming up.
I'm happy with the masks, and I'm glad that I didn't cave into the pressure to buy crates at 500g a piece, or else I would be disappointed.
