I was thinking...

It'd be cool if we had a thread devoted to helping each other out. Not for big things like "I'm saving for a Boolean/G1 Imp/Imp Scroll/XXX G1/Skycat/Cranial Hornhelm and need help!" but rather smaller things, such as finishing Gene Projects, completing Outfits, collecting non-KS/year 1 Familiars, offering to nest pairs for Breeding Projects, etc. Just a buncha stuff like that ^_^ But only helping each other out out of the kindness of your heart, and not to turn around later an say "Hey, I helped you out then now you've gotta help me out!" because that'd be just plain mean and rude and go against the "out of the kindness of your heart" part.

Would anyone be interested in this? Not just to receive help, but also to give it? Anything would be considered giving; from 1g to 100, no amount would be too small!

(There may already be threads similar to/exactly like this one, but I don't think another one would hurt ^_^)

edit; If anyone has any clues on what rules might be helpful for such a thread, please PM me immediately! My brains runnin' slow, lol.

i would absolutely love that! but i feel it would need a lot of organization first, and i would feel bad for not contributing much once it got started because i'm always poor

i would love to help out! maybe have a member-run bank to help people out with funds too?

@QueenKatoe It's okay :) Yea, it'd need a lot of organization. I wouldn't honestly care how much each of you contributed; I'd be trying to do a lot of it myself ^_^ On the familiar collecting part: I'm often grinding in the Coli during Holidays and get quite a few familiar drops, so I could donate those to familiar collectors that didn't have them yet.

@kyrin18 that sounds awesome, so definitely keep me on a pinglist if you decide to go through with it!

What @/starshiny said, maybe a member-run bank would be neat! I’m usually poor, but I’ll probs make it a thing for myself to donate a lil bit of cash monies to the fund-pool weekly if we do have a fund thing :D but this would probs need huge organization :0

Edit: I can probs give some Baldwin mats/lend my cauldron too, I’m usually brewing but I never use the cauldron for anything huge

I like this idea!! Please count me in, I've got a few ideas to contribute that may help with the organization.

There could be several sections for the various ways people can help. Providing nests or dragon rentals for breeding projects, cauldrons for apparel or gene projects, general funds for the MP genes--or perhaps a bank with X amount of donated funds avaliable to buy genes--maybe a foodbank, dragon boarding, familiar donations. Just some general ideas that could occur.

I do think there would have to be some sort of limits on the amount of gifts one person can get, just so people can share the wealth more. Details can be worked out eventually!

This sounds fun! I wouldn't mind donating, ping me when/if you get it running c:
