I'm trying to decide who among my lair will be changed into gaolers. So tell me who you converted, and why you chose that particular dragon(s).

I'm trying to decide who among my lair will be changed into gaolers. So tell me who you converted, and why you chose that particular dragon(s).
My triple ice Nocturne/Imperial pair that I was dragging my heels on breeding for offspring because I guess I wasn't that interested in them. They were met/bee/glimmer and met/alloy/glimmer before. Also, I got greedy and thought I could make a profit, and I did, while getting some gaolers I liked, and I like them.

Now I actually have to do a gene project to get pure XXX. that and name them--

I love coffee. I love it oh so dearly. The caffeinated joy that brings me to waddle my penguin legs to freedom and join my fellow short brethren. One goal upon all our minds as a collective hive of couch potatoes: feed, sleep, feed. Yet I dared to defect, and ventured to the vast lands to sip the nectar of holiness. The frappuccino size grande. I fell many great beasts; titans of giraffe leggeths, shopping carts of short person annihilation, and crowds of tiny human destruction. I have conquered them all.

I had a pretty bogsneak that was sitting around in my lair with no real purpose. I scryed a few of my other dragons before I got to her and fell in love with how jaguar looked on her

I had a pretty bogsneak that was sitting around in my lair with no real purpose. I scryed a few of my other dragons before I got to her and fell in love with how jaguar looked on her
I bought my second because I wanted a breeding pair and loved teal + tapir. Their babies... are going to be interesting.

I bought 4 gen1's for cheap off the AH and changed them. It was a bunch of time in the scrying workshop making sure I could give them a good look. The first two were Ices on purpose, and the ones after were whatever.
But the one I'm really proud of was my random progen. I hadn't touched him once for 4 years because A. he was a Tundra, and I hate Tundras (sorry), and B. his colors were so problematic in that the tert just ruined any vibe I could start with the primary/secondary. And scattering him could result in something worse, so I just... left him.
But look now, I'm so happy! Male Gaolers look so good, and with the genes I gave him, his primary both darkens to match his tert, and fades to match the faded part of his secondary. I love him so much now!!

Well, I don't have any lore written out yet but!! I changed my boy Kjeburax because he was a sort of alien and when the clan was given their scrolls he took one to use it on himself thinking he would finally fit in. (That, or my other idea was that he was a Gaoler all along and was finally able to reveal his true form instead of masquerading, but that sounds kinda dumb)
I changed Haiku, my avatar girl, because she's just a clumsy, poetic artist who got to excited and decided the best way to find her muse was to completely change her point of view by becoming an Ancient breed.
My other candidate, who I'm still debating on changing, is Adeline. Her lore is that she despises everything that isn't Ice, her home flight, and she's angry with her father for bringing her back with him to the Guild instead of letting her stay with her mother. (She was a hatchling from my friend's 100 hatchling challenge, I lent my boy to be a partner) Having her steal a scroll from the Guild's hoard would be perfect for her lore, but the only issue is that I can't find a pretty Gaoler scry for her haha! I also like her outfit at the moment

The only dragon I didn't buy to change into a gaoler is Dogwood. (Scry shown bc im broke)

I decided to just poke around my lair and see if any of them looked good and realized she was way cool. She used to be a fae and while I still think she was nice as one I like her as a gaoler a lot more. The only problem is how to explain in my lore why on earth there's some random fire gaoler with goat eyes running around the ashfall wastes....
(also i really wish we could make custom apparel or have custom skins for gaolers that break silhouette/lineart, she really needs a witch's hat.)
