I think theres been a thread about this but are gaoler genes really THAT rare?
ive been in the coli for 6 hours a day, every day, since the update and i haven't gotten anything but normal loot + a few fams

I think i remember python & morph dropping way more than this

Same problem here. It's getting frustrating.

Yeah :/ 24 hours total (not kidding. am on summer break so lots of free time) is a long time to sit in the coli and get no good loot, at all. I went though every venue but spent the most time in the forest path so i got several battles per minute and still nothing ;-;

And uh can't really afford 20$ of gems for ONE phantom gene

I feel that. I absolutely refuse to pay such ridiculous prices for them, so I'm just hoping that the AH prices drop soon. I've heard that Thunderhead Savanna is a good place to grind for it, so that's where I've been, but no luck so far.

I got a scroll in the MP, I had no idea they even dropped in the coli tbh.

I've been doing the back death for the entirety of the time gaolers have been out and getting absolutely nothing, Getting kind of irritated but Angelo is getting to level 25 so it's not all going to waste. But geez, the drop rates are kind of crazy.

[/quote] Yeah, I'm not even gonna bother trying to grind for them :'') As more people start grinding for them, the prices will drop. It's only been a few days since they were released, so high prices are to be expected. The first day, the three coli genes weren't even [i]listed[/i] in the auction house. [s]I, sadly, did not know that the genes were coli-drops (I read through the update super quick) and made a project with 2 of them. RIP wallet[/s] I'd say give it a month or two. Better wait and pay way less than to splurge $20 worth of gems on [i]one[/i] gene now. Edit: Python/morph used to be pretty expensive when they were first released, but now they're both to 150-200 gems-ish each. I think waiting is our best option :''/

I've gotten an egg, familiars I've never seen before, a lot of food, and a lot of battle stones, but not a single gene scroll. It's insane how low the drops are.

Picked up an egg, an elim, and python, plenty of silks and familiars, but not a single Gaoler gene. It's wearing me down to spend so many hours in coli. :'(

I've managed to get two eggs and a python scroll, but absolutely no gaoler genes. It a little absurd how much time I've spent in the coli these last few days with very little to show for it v_v
