Okay, I don't think anybody had adressed the bogsneak in the room.
Eliminate has gone down by 300kt.
I could buy an egg with just that!
So why is this? If you don;t already know, free gifts were being given away at Galore's Glorious gifts. When it was first annonced people got 2 (Account locked) Vial of goat eyes or something like that, and

2. ELIMINATES.

Flight rising mods, did you not think this would screw up the economy completly?

What's your opinion on this, guys?

This has, in fact, been discussed already. And yes, of course eliminates went down.

That's not necessarily a bad thing. Eliminates are very important to coli farming, the primary source of income and items to a large percentage of players. They were nearly hitting 600kt before Galore. That's a lot of treasure, especially for a grand new player, so it's been suggested that part of the Galore drop was an effort to make them more accessible.

@Stormdance Maybe, but it crashed the economy completly. The whole excitment of getting an eliminate is because it was so highly valued, but now you'd have to get anout 3 until you could reach the same.. "excitement level," if that even makes any sense

@Valemora When the game first started (What I think you're implying) Of course eliminate was cheap, the rarity system was a little hatchling fresh outta the egg

Eliminates were 65kt when I joined and it was a bit stressful seeing them go up as high as nearly 700kt. Personally I'm glad the devs went with the Galore option for them. Plus there's been a (slight) price shift in other areas; with Eliminates now being more accessible, prices on other stones like Berserker and Ambush have gone up, since people actually have a reason to want them now. Eliminates are a necessity for hardcore grinding and actually making a decent profit. They shouldn’t be available to just the upper class :/

Also, economies crash sometimes but they’ll survive. At least now they’re at acceptable prices for newbies.

Eliminates used to be about 50-60kt when I made my first coli team. Of course I liked the 600-700g as a seller, but I don't mind the price reduction. Just means more people will have a little easier time getting into the coli which I think is great.

I believe for the first three years the prices were pretty low, definitely less than 100k (I joined 1.5 years after the start). Ambush was actually more expensive. Think the open reg and the popularity of Mire instead of Kelp Beds for trainexalting (due to invention of Mire Flyer) changed that...

FYI the mods have nothing to do with site mechanics. They're users who, well, moderate the boards, not admins or devs who actually run the site.

The economy is just fine. I don't feel bad for the fact that people can't charge newbies and others who don't have a ton of treasure and gems anymore quite so exorbitant prices for a stone that should be accessible to people building their coli teams. The price of eliminate just kept climbing higher and higher and needed a bit of a check, IMO.
