Announcement & Activity Check

Hello everyone! I have created this ANR discussion thread for the purpose of (1) facilitating discussion regarding issues or upcoming changes, (2) having a place to do activity checks and announcements that will not get buried quite as quickly as has happens on the main rental thread, and (3) providing clarity between my "I need a nest pings" and my "I am holding an activity check pings". From this point forward, all activity checks will occur on this thread. If I ping you on the main rental thread, there is a 99.9% chance I'm just looking for a nest.

Since this thread should probably have a discussion aspect to it, the first thing I would like to discuss is the waiting time between pinging the main list and pinging the backup list. Currently it is a 24 hour wait. I am thinking of lowering it to a 12 hour wait. Hosts, and backup hosts in particular, how would you feel about this change?

Anyways, it is time again for an activity check to be held. Please send in the form linked below to confirm your activity with the service. You need to have sent in a form prior to September 18th in order to retain your position as a nest host with our service.

Lowering wait times for backup sounds like good idea to me as well. I've seen a couple of nesting requests that were time sensitive and having a shorter wait time can help with those.
