I've exalted:

I mainly only exalt heavily during conquest battles. Starfall and AvN (in July).
Between February and June there were no large Conquest battles.
As such I say it's a fair estimate that I have trained exalted about [b]2,000[/b] dragons since June.
That's, assuming I leveled no higher than 5, and it takes on average (for me) to level 2 dragons to 5 that's[b] 33.333 hours[/b] in the coliseum.
[i](((2,000 dragons / 2 dragons) * 2 minutes )) / (60 minutes) [/i]
That's not counting:
Festival Time, there has been 4 Festivals since then (I spend about 2 hours daily during festival) (let's say I only do 2 hours for 6 days).
The 4 level 25s I have leveled (each taking me an average of 5.5 hours).
And any other misc. farming time (this I can't account for).
so 33.33 + 48 + 22 = 103.33 hours of Coliseum time since Gaolers were released.
I have earned dozens of Pythons/Morphs, an elim here or there, a few eggs, but you know what?
No Phantom/Spirit.
I swear there's gotta be some trick I'm missing.

I've found...I wanna say three phantoms? I'm in the Coli, uh, a lot. And around the same number of spirits, I think. Hard to say as I've sold/used most of said scrolls.

I found like 2 phantoms and 5 spirits when training my coli team up, but i dislike gaolers so i sold them for a pretty penny :p

I've only exalted 72 dragons and don't spend nearly as much time as I need to in the coli and have not gotten phantom or spirit to drop either.
All I can figure is that people who spend more than five hours a day in the coli every day for at least a week are the only people who seem to get anything decent.

I’ve gotten at least four phantom, two spirit, and one weathered and have only exalted around 4K dragons. It’s random chance, but I think sheer luck plays into it.

I've exalted myself 6380 dragons (that's not relative of how much time I waste in the Coli, mind you) and I have gotten 2 spirit genes & a weathered scroll.
