Flight Rising Discussion

Okay, not the best worded title but when you're searching for dragons, what's one thing you'll always accept/excuse? A certain gene, even in you hated color? Or a color with a gene you hate? Certain breeds, eyes, gen 1's, names, whatever?

For me it's Nature eyes! They can clash horribly with the dragon's colors and I won't care. Like Zhielder here. Do green eyes match blue and orange, heck no! And I don't care. =D

So what's your free pass thing?

I'm way too picky about dragons these days to have a specific trait be a free pass, so I guess I'd have to say 'dragons I got as a newbie when I didn't know any better' :)

For real though, Low digits/ 3+years or Above level 10.
Not really a hard-core oldie collector but I can easily scatter or use scrolls to change the other parts I don't like, it's harder to get one that's been around for a few years.

And the higher level means somebody cared at least a little bit before listing them and it really doesn't take that much to get them up to 25.

lightning eyes, i can't remember the last time i went "oh cyan wrong color" because cyan is always the right color

when i scry a dragon i almost always give it lightning eyes because i just know i'll have to breed for it, and i can't be bothered to rent a nest. fandragons especially, they always get scried with lightning eyes

Fire eyes. God orange is so good. Granted, I'm usually not super picky on eyecolors matching the dragon. Usually I like something that pops out, honestly.

as a g1 crazy lady, i think i'm rather particular ab what dragons I buy, but that being said, I do tend to splurge more often on camo/algae/swamp coloured dragons

Eye color... many fellow pink-range lairs prefer Arcane eyes, but I could care less, honestly, unless it's Plague Primal which grosses me out. Plus Starseer's Sashes are the most expensive of the Sashes, for some reason.
