Alright, so I have these common podid gaolers and I was going to try and breed some for the first day of the Riot of Rot... but then I was thinking; what if someone wanted to buy these dragons as a plague representative? Could they be plague representatives? Or would they be better suited for representing another flight? What exactly makes a dragon a flight rep? Here’s what I was thinking...
• Wearing a flight’s festival apparel doesn’t really work in this case, but does the skin/accent affect what kind of representative they can be?
• My gaolers are green and mossy looking, so would they be better suited to being a nature rep?
• Having light eyes could also make them a light rep as they were born in the Lightweaver’s domain...
• Common podids can be found in the mire which is in the Plaguebringer’s domain. Does mimicking these familiars make them a flight rep?
• Gaolers were originally created by the Icewarden, so does this mean they are better ice reps?
I’m probably overthinking this, but what do you think? [emoji=spiral confused size=1]

Here is one of the hatchlings in question...

In my lair, everyone from Dumbledore to Flitwick is a flight rep:

To me a flight rep must have the same flight, gender and corresponding colors to the deity they represent. Their genes must be the most similar to the deity they represent. I also try to give flight reps festival familiars associated with the deity.
Some of my flight reps are complete, while others are works in progress.
For example, here is my Arcane rep:

idk? i thought flight reps had to be that element

I've seen reps that have different elements to make the eyes stand out. Usually, a flight rep looks like their flight at a glance. Their color scheme and apparel match their flight. The issue with the Mire is that nothing in it really looks plague-y, so I don't think these podids would make for good flight reps, as cool as the idea is. If anything, they could work for nature.

Hainu manage to slip out of any collar. The ground in their territory is littered with failed efforts.

there's no legit definition for a flight rep, it's whatever the user wants their flight rep to be
some put stricter reqs on their reps, like it must be of that element & must be of those colors & needs to be of the flight-related breed, but others give more leeway and would be okay with a plague-element green-colored water rep, for example

basically it varies a HUGE amount \o/
to me, it's apparel, element, colors, skin/accent if present, and sometimes genes. i don't really like going as far as breed since i don't like a few of them... so if i ever continued my reps and did them by breed, some flights wouldn't get a rep oops
but basically, the ultimate rep has everything matching
but here's a question, if the mire is part of that quarantine zone, does it make it at least a bit more of a nature place? :p

i think it varies greatly; for me, they just have to have a general aesthetic or theme of their Flight, never mind apparel, accents, breeds, or eyes that come from their respective Flights. some people are stricter than that and others are not. i once saw a person whose Flight representatives only counted in their eyes, but they didn't care what their genes, colors, apparel, or everything else was, as long as their eyes matched their represented Flights.
you'll find great variation in who counts what as a Flight rep, but i'd recommend sticking to dragons who match their Flight in eye, gene, and color because that seems the most common general restriction.

What makes a Flight rep is saying it's a Flight rep. That's the only real requirement.
For me, I like my reps to have matching element and colors, and then I usually dress them accordingly/give them a matching fest familiar. Some people's requirements are stricter, some are looser; it just depends on what you want out of it.

I have a Plague Fae who looks pretty in a recent Starfall Celebration skin and apparel, so she's a rep now. Ya want them to be a rep, boom, they are
