I get so irrationally angry when I see this phrase, though [img]https://flightrising.com/images/map/region_plague.jpg[/img] Do you see the Mire anywhere on here? I've even heard people argue it can be one of the quarantine zones, which... great, okay, a flight venue that espouses the area of the land meant to be anything [I]but[/I] the Scarred Wasteland? I just want a plague venue. Please. ;__; It doesn't have to be gory and veiny, for everyone who's terrified of the aesthetic. I can make do with dead sand, driftwood, and bones. I just want an illustrated area of my beloved flight's territory and some of the denizens that live within. Mutated beasts, Serthis in bone armor, vultures, scarred Raptorik outcasts, terrifying six-limbed boss beasts that can go dormant for weeks and emerge in a frenzied rage when prey wanders nearby. Diseased dryads from the area stricken by First Seed, that have in turn been twisted by Plague's ambient magic. Two-headed dust iguanas and many-clawed rodents that have evolved to eat carrion. Things shaped and sharpened by survival.

please give us a proper ooey gooey plague venue

I think it is. Maybe the artists just need to add more variety to the maps... and revise the art. I’m SURE that gross swamps could exist in plague flight’s territory

I imagine it as where the First Seed got yeeted.

It's more a match for Nature than it is Plague as it stands (though I read it as elementally neutral, Nature already has 2-3 venues), and I don't understand why everyone's so insistent on writing off Mire as the venue Plague is owed. The mobs? Ghostlight Ruins is filled with Shadow monsters, and it's supposed to be part of the Hewn City, IIRC. Plague's got so much room for an [I]interesting[/I] venue and I'm just going to get saltier until we actually get one. It just... really often reads as people not wanting Plague's aesthetic anywhere on the site and trying to bury it wherever possible. There's been a lot of hostile pushback against Plague in the past, and we've already had to sacrifice a lot of what made up our flight's aesthetic. When people say 'a swamp is good enough for Plague', it's just... infuriating. Don't take away what we still have!

So from what you guys want is aesthetic to be the equivalent to when Griffith summoned god's hand from berserk, got it.

As much as I like the Mire, I do hope Plague gets a proper venue. There's so much they could do with that flight's aesthetic and it really deserves one by now.
